It was always going to have an impact on content that it shouldnât have for sure, but that is not enough of a reason to not do it.
In my eyes, it has done FAR more good than bad, and the few bad things out there are things players can work around easily.
If this is the worst thing that came from it, then we are pretty well off, Iâd say.
You still need a tank for the first boss, and Ursoc requires a geared character.
Idk I havenât had issues as HDH in M EN. Might be fair to say itâs not scaled for folks below 200ilvl?
The first undead dragon boss will still mind control you if youâre not a tank, resetting the fight. I tried it the other day.
Itâs not so much an assumption, but a recognition of past fixes theyâve actually used before in previous stat squishes.
That is, simply a blanket damage increase aura to all players in older content, something thatâs already in place in pre-Legion expansions. People are upset because theyâre outright refusing to use that same fix as well as going back on their word that the stat squish update wouldnât make previously solable content, unsolable again.
Iâve never had an issue on the first boss. Iâve never been MCed. Iâm not sure what Iâm doing differently other than maybe killing him quick.
Itâs possible that youâre killing her quick enough not to get MCâd. Iâm dying to get cloth set, but priest canât solo first boss with 200 ilvl. I can easily solo M EN on Blood DK (I switch back to Frost after first boss).
Pvp trinket might work unless itâs instant reset
I havenât tried. I will next time I log in, but I think itâs instant.
Yeah I could see SP having issues since itâs a whittle down the enemy spec. HDH is just brrrrrr.
Are you speccing for ST nuking?
Either way though. Itâs Legacy content, a MC ability shouldnât even exist when in a solo environment.
I mean, if we completely ignore the fact that some classes get abilities way later than they should while leveling, scaling being broken (as mentioned before), legion mobs only being 15 levels below the player as opposed to 20+, and a bunch of other issues that result from this sort of major change. about the only good thatâs come form this is faster leveling and devs not having to make bosses with a limit of 2.1b hp, as that would be a silly amount at this point.
Not to mention that heirlooms, although this is more a minor point only level 5 levels per upgrade now, kinda silly, really.
And look, I get that youâre a community manager, Iâm not trying to beef with you or sound upset or anything, yeah? Just holy crud, the squish didnât just cut our levels in more than half, it raised the power of the mobs in comparison to us which is sort of an issue and why Mythic raids are kind of a butt to solo. In short, Legion itself should have itâs cap reduced to L40 and all bosses accordingly, if this were to happen it might just fix a few things.
The plan we were given was, any raid 2+ expacs old would recieve the legacy debuff. When you zone into raids from WoD on back (maybe not all the way to Vanilla raids, not sure if thereâs a cut off?) the bosses have a debuff icon that say they have X less health and do X less damage. If the rule is 2 expacs old⌠well, Legion fits that. Yet, no debuff. Or there wasnât one last time I went in.
One expac old. That was the original statement. Like it allways was. 10 level below max.
I remember reading â11 levels below the playerâ, which would put it at 2, but if it was 10 (1 expac), thatâs even worse. I almost asked âwhat are the devs doingâ, but at this rate I donât think even they know anymore.
We asked for a reply.
The reply was deal with it.
New accounts do not have to do Legion raids. What are you smoking?
sorry youâre right its BFA they have to do. BTW never taken drugs in my 59 years I got naturally high of good music and dancing. Not like todays generation.
Aighty then
You want a cookie or a medal? He was making a joke ![]()
@Aurek; that question is better asked of the devs at this point, lol.
