It takes the average player over 10 full days of game time to hit 60 on their first character. That’s 240 hours over 75 days… assuming they even played from day one to begin with, that’s over three hours every single day with no pause. More realistically, a lot of us started maybe a week or two after Classic’s release, and there are days where we simply can’t play at all due to real life commitments. So that 3 hours every day looks more like 4-5 hours. And that’s just to HIT level 60 TODAY - never mind all the time it takes to gear up in 5-mans and do raids.
Are we supposed to abandon all our other hobbies, stop playing any other video games, quit our job, leave our significant other/spouse, send away our kids and stop going outdoors because some 19 year old virgins on the internet pressured us to spend every waking hour on a video game?
No. Capped at r3. But, if you dont SS raid-trade, you risk falling behind on midnight Monday raid ladder calc. First week should be auto rank one, with min hks, and zero dhks. Then its a race to farm. R10 doable and then even these “hardcore” pvp advocates will be begging for bgs past r10.
Typing that: wpvp is fun small scale but watching people meta hkps is, kind of sad, honestly.
