Well, Gallywix is still out there. So he can show up with all his wacky hijinks, it just won’t be as faction leader.
Are there not several goblins on the side of the Alliance already?
Renzik “the Shiv”.
Does he even have a character at all seems to stand around doing nothing. Why buy them out anyways when we have gnomes and mechagnomes.
Renzik at least was given some characterization in Elegy. Basically, he get paid well, enjoys the fact he is one the few goblins who can say they are highly respected, and more importantly, he has “the tiniest of soft spots for the Alliance way of looking at things”.
In a way, people like Valeera and Renzik are interesting precisely because they are one of the few handfuls willing to work with the otherside on a regular basis.
even more reason to buy the goblins out. no war materials no war and we finally win it
not refugees, slaves he was planning to make them slaves after giving him theitr life savings for passage on the boat.
Right. He’s just mad at the Alliance for costing him Profit.
The two are not at all mutually exclusive. They’re disturbingly often the same thing.
Thing about Goblins… they do have a Mercenary code of honor. In most occasions, once you buy a Goblin, they stay bought… at least until the contract ends.
The Alliance tried to murder the Bilgewater goblins, while the Horde took them in and gave them a new home. An entire zone, in fact.
And put Gallywix - the person who just tried to sell them all as slaves - in charge.
Presumably, because he WAS in charge at the time of their evacuation, adn there wasn’t a major Goblin dissident movement to say otherwise.

In my head canon, Thrall was actually being whispered to by the Jailor at that time, and that explains his inexplicable leadership decisions. Because apparently that is how we now justify contradictory character behaviour.
Thrall helps the Goblin player fight Gallywix after the Goblins tell Thrall what Gallywix did.

You are joking right? You and your loyal followers lead a revolt against Gallywix with help from Thrall. And prior to that, the goblin PC was actually running a campaign to oust Gallywix as trade prince. Which is why Gallywix hired pirates to burn down all of the escape ships but his own. Forcing all the other Goblins to pay him for safe travel away from Kezan.
Oh lord…I just found out Gallywix sends the PC to whack Grizzek but then Gazlowe stops the PC. Not the way to make me more receptive to him as the new Bilgewater trade prince
