I find that in bfa, if you dont have the right talents and azerite traits BM can feel underperforming and possibly boring. If you have a decent gear setup but don’t really try to optimize your rotation and just mash stuff then I can see that process getting boring as well.
I am by no means a top tier BM hunter, but the fact that I can jump around, avoid fire, or stand in place and still have a chance at optimal dps is fun to me.
The challenge to hit my cooldowns in the the right moment so that they coincide with dod up time and/or a gear crit strike proc is fun for me…
Jumping into a crowd of mobs, poping bote and hearing my dark dwarfs battle cry then disengaging afterwards as my two glowing red Gon’s tear everything apart is fun for me.
“Boring” can often be in the eye of the beholder, casting a large blanket opinion of “boring” on something never will be a majority opinion.
