So I tried the AOE cap

It’s not difficult to tap Blade Flurry and have a focus target, compared to a Cataclysm Heroic where the scaling was so high that the two healers in the pull couldn’t be active at the same time.

AoE is not hard in BFA. Corruptions and Essences make it trivial.

I cannot imagine what goes through someone’s head if they think proccing AoE is difficult.

I suppose you’re at least 5K io with rank 1 parses on Hivemind then?

They lowered the AOE cap? So what the heck is the point of AOEs now?

This makes me very happy I’m a mage, arcane explosion has no cap and my fire abilities aren’t taking a hit from this since meteor and ignite don’t really get past five to six targets often anyway.

I wish I had the amount of dodge you posses to avoid my point.

“possess” friend.

You’re not making a point. You’re lying about what it takes to set up AoE pulls in dungeons just saying it’s not hard acting like pre-CC is harder.

But the highest dungeon you’ve done is a 3 - which is FINE, but stop acting like you know things past that.

Assuming the armoury tells you literally everything about said player.

Slightly harder than cataclysm heroics.

Have you seen the invitationals? Not exactly difficult when you practice over and over.

That’s certainly a fair point, I’m not sure how the numbers actually fall, I’m pretty sure those doing +20’s etc for fun would be in the minority though.

But irrespective, I personally don’t disagree with the notion that an AoE cap isn’t great, even visually which I think is more important, I think there could have been a better way to implement balance, even if it was back to the softcap style of pre-Legion.

I do question though people’s motivation these days, especially when viewing some things on tbe forums, and it does make me wonder if it’s all about the goal now not the journey (for the average player)

Assuming I’m not also comparing his armory to the things hes saying to gauge him as a player

Read what I just quoted and tell me I’m wrong

He’s literally saying the MDI is “not hard”

There’s nothing here that is wrong. Sorry chief.

You are completely ignorant if you don’t think what the players do in the MDI is hard.

Calm down. I’m merely agreeing with you in my own way. I’m on your side about that because you’re right.

Fight me. Flag pole. 3pm.

MDI is not live Overwatch, where there’s a human element that adds an unknown variable. MDI is straight forward. The AI is the same, the mobs react the same, and the bosses react in almost identical fashion.

You get more from practicing MDI than you would an Overwatch match.

CC juggling mobs has been apart of Vanilla WoW until Wrath, and then it made a brief, awkward appearance in Cata, but then was nerfed out of oblivion.

I’ve yet to see mobs nerfed for the sake of AoE pulls.

I don’t even know what to say to this because you’re essentially saying no PvE video game can be hard. That’s just objectively untrue.

Repetition is more beneficial in a PvE game than PvP. Even as something as complicated as Dark Souls; even if you die four or five times, each death theoretically takes longer as you begin to understand the AI.

Unlike a PvP game, where you can practice all you want, but because there’s a human element involved, no two interactions are completely identical. You could die four or five times without any progress.
