So I heard?

I think instead of posting you could easily head on over to twitch and watch someone who’s streaming to get a much better idea of the game. Or watch some Dratnos or Signs of Kelani videos about the new stuff with DF.

Well, as I said. I found an old mmo now that I thought was lost in time again.

With the time I am over there. I have a-lot less game time to devote to wow (even if I eventually bend a bit and try it out in three months or so) again. With the remaining time I have left.

With only half of my wow toons even existing too (since I deleted some of my mains yesterday) to get me more and more away from this game I once really loved but now has turned into something I don’t completely recognize as wow, well I don’t think I will be participating anymore in this game.

Is it a 10/10? No, there are plenty of bugs and confusing design choices

But I’m still having a lot of fun despite them. The world is beautiful and rich, I’ve enjoyed more storylines than I’ve disliked, and Dragonriding is just straight up fun if you actually take the 10 seconds it takes to learn it, instead of purposely flying into a wall and then throwing your hands in the air screaming about how it’s a dumb, broken system

Also it feels more like WoW than the last 2 expansions have. And one of those the first half of said expansion was deliberately advertised as the return of the faction war

Potential to be a 10/10 expansion
But since they butchered world content, unless i find a replacement for it, 3/10

Well, they always do this when they have actual raid and dungeon data. They’ve been doing this every expansion.

I’m not saying that there isn’t an issue with some balancing, I’m just saying that below max level isn’t ever going to get looked at for the sake of balancing. What matters is the numbers at the top, and even then it only really effects like 10% of the player base or something that does hard progression. Probably PVP, too.

It’s a shame that your views are based on bigotry. But you are correct.

Yeah you hate WoW so much you pay the monthly subscription and watch gaming news/content about the game…riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight…

How about you play “dragonlands” and just judge for yourself? You know, once you have some free time from your beloved “new” MMO

Same.
Even the wife was so-so about BFA and hated SLs and is LOVING DF so far.
She’s actually enjoying DRing, which is surprising.

Just because I have alternate views doesn’t make it bigotry. I like my games to be as far away from reality. Sorry you misunderstood, but sjw’s gotta do what they gotta do I guess.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to justify your rather lousy disposition.

I’m not the one getting aggressive here. I don’t care for what ever crazy agenda you’re trying to argue here. So I’ll leave it there.

Why does it matter to you what others think?
Either play it and enjoy it yourself, for yourself…or dont.

Ever see that movie ‘Nothing but Trouble’ with Chevy Chase, Demi Moore, John Candy, etc?
I LOOOOOVE that movie.
Everyone else around here either hates it or doesnt care either way.
Far as I know Im the only one who loves to watch it a few times a year.
Am I supposed to not like it because of others hating it?

I love this expansion after four characters on beta and now running on live.
I dont give a squat if someone else likes it or not.

You should do more reading about the expansion and decide for YOU if you want to try it out or not.

I like it so far
parts of it are hard for me to deal with medically, but
the quests are solid & easy enough to do. as well as there being good leading quests to the next etc
The art team did a bang up job as always, scenery is phenom…I always love seeing the new stuff they come up with
Loving that they put more inclusive stuff for different groups of people in the game…
tweaks to certain things would improve a lot of people’s experience, but over all…after only a week…its just fine.
It’s nothing like Shadowlands for sure, not all doom n gloom…its more…‘colorful’…

Oh the old mmo I play still has issues.

I didn’t say it was my beloved mmo. I don’t think any game can be perfect.

However, yes, it is from a time before a number of changes were put into a certain segment of games.

One of the big problems I see with many games coming up today is that too much real life social issues are being implemented into fictional worlds where they feel unnatural or forced or just plain out don’t make any sense for that fictional world.

Been playing since BC, really enjoying this expansion so far.

Not really sure why people think it goes against the “core of WoW”. What would we even define that as anymore? The game is completely and totally different from what it was when I first started playing it, but here I am all these years later still enjoying it. Did not care for BFA at all and unsubbed for a good portion of it. Shadowlands was okay, I liked it better than BFA but that’s about it.

Game looks more or less the same as it always has. Better models than years ago, but other than that I’m not sure how it’s anymore “disney-like” now than it was previously. Given that a good portion of the model updates happened a few expansions ago, I’m not really sure what it is you think looks more disney like in DF?

Really it’s too early to tell how good this expansion will be long term but for now I am enjoying it. Idk why people would dislike it but continue to play; I disliked many things about BFA, so I quit for a while…why pay to play something you don’t like?

I don’t think you’re necessarily wrong or right- whether or not people like the game is extremely subjective.

Hmm well I deleted my death knight because I just don’t enjoy playing the class. But I get it. A few years ago my bf bought me this game called Factorio. Idk what it was about the game but within the first 5 minutes I became irrationally angry and absolutely hated it. Felt bad because he bought it for me but turns out it he didn’t end up liking it either. At any rate, I removed it from my steam library and have never touched it since.

I would say, that for me, I don’t care why or if people like or hate Factorio. Some people love it, and that’s okay. BUT I do think I understand where you’re coming from, coming here asking for people’s opinions even though you hate the game in its current state. When I unsubbed in BFA it was difficult for me. WoW has been a part of most of my adult life and I’ve played it through many, many different periods of my life. It’s the one thing that’s kind of “come with me” even after moving to different states, a different country, a marriage, a divorce, and so forth. Even when I didn’t like it anymore, it was hard to just walk away and let it go for a while. I would still browse the forums occasionally and it sucked because I wanted to like WoW again but it just wasn’t there.

Anyway. Sorry for the long ramble, idk where I was going with this other than to say that personally I am really enjoying Dragonflight so far, but that’s just me, and my opinion.

Did an AI write the OP?

To be fair, a percentage of any population is going to be gay, etc.
To omit it from the game world would be more strange and out of place than having it.
As long as you and I arent being forced to wear mogs with the LGBT flag or play a gay character, its not really that intrusive.

Well I will just add one comment here.

I’m not against people who are gay. I had friends in college that were. Gay people should be included.

However, when you have say a population in a fictional world that takes place in a certain period of time (or it’s implied that first off it’s in a much older time (inspired by the middle ages in Europe) and then you have kids walking around because you know the population at large had kids to continue the species, then it seems a bit strange with over-representation is all because then how were all of the people who live in Azeroth born?

We all know the answer to that question. Which is that most of the population of wow that lives in that fictional world like the opposite sex instead of another preference.

So over-representation of a population that goes the other way just might feel forced and thus not realistic for that world.

So if you hate WoW why are you still subscribed? We know you are otherwise you wouldn’t have access to this post. In fact if you hate the game why are you even here? Do you see us going to your mmo’s forum and complaining about how we don’t like that but like WoW better?

Well, if you can’t remember, don’t 1st hand know. Can’t even get the name right. Cannot quote the person or persons you so called heard the rumor from. And don’t even play anymore then that pretty much sums it up that your opinion at this point doesn’t count to a hill of beans.

My thought as well.

But it’s starting to look like the post 70 game isn’t well tested and issues are starting to pop up.
