I must confess that I both like Grimrail Depot and voted for it to make people angry. ![]()
Accurate! My thoughts exactly. Voted by those who don’t run M+. I’m on the fence whether I bail for S4. Zero interest. I’d like to get the mount but I’m not sure it’s worth the dungeon lineup. Also was hoping I’d never run Mechagon as well since we left bfa.
Did it on my mage alt during TW a few hours ago… was horrible.
The camera when you’re moving is annoying af and as a mage i was mostly standing still, gl if you’re melee and have to move out of crap.
Casting circles are annoying to put down too… seems like there’s always something in the way.
Probably gonna do this crap on a 15 once on Tyra and once on Fort and call it a season… then never do it again.
I just hope they update the graphics. Some old dungeons have bad graphics with the updates, and I just know people are going to die to stuff like the earthquake aoes because they are hard to see.
I know all statistics are made up. But I’m 100% sure that Grimrail vote was just a pure troll.
I’m sure it’d cost them a little bit but they really do need to add polling capabilities to the bnet app, where they can run polls per-account instead of per-character and offer it only to paying accounts. It wouldn’t eliminate troll votes but it’d mitigate them significantly.
[Glitch] is one of the new affixes, the existing ones were too predictable.
Is it the same as the “DC randomly” affix? xD
Leveling runs are not m+. It will matter. On tyrannical weeks, it will matter the most.
That’s cool and all, but we weren’t talking about M+.
Why would those affixes be disabled? Cramped space is part of the challenge of the dungeon.
For reference, BfA had Tol Dagor dungeon which was every bit as worse and even more noteworthy for being buggy with trash “randomly” aggroing through walls, keeping you in combat, and even getting stuck in unreachable terrain.
I did it again on Druid. I tell everyone to dodge everything orange at start. Especially the orange circle. Only 2 deaths. No wipes.
RAPID FIRE!!!
I think people chose grimrail to just be spiteful tbh. They prob did it to get back at the m+ people.
I’ll never understand people’s obsession with that awful dungeon.
Well i can tell you, they voted not because of the bugs.
Of all the dungeons we could have had, we had to have the one where you’re running down a hallway with no room to move.
I mean technically speaking, that’s pretty much any WoD dungeon, their pretty cramped.
A fight that you can do only 1/3 of the time is going to be fun for S4 mythics.
Ay, so like the first boss of gambit that’s been bugged the whole season?
I don’t run mythics so I had no idea ![]()

How could they stack the poll to get the result they wanted to blame on the playerbase if they made it an honest poll?
It’s an experiment, guys. Adding more RNG to see how players respond.

I read they were having a vote, and one of the choices was going to be Grimrail Depot. I said to myself that it wouldn’t be right for me, someone who doesn’t do mythic+ dungeons to vote for the option that would be A TOTAL CRITSTORM. The fact that they let the entire playerbase and all their level 10 alts vote on this is just evidence that it was never intended to be a fair vote.
I must have had the luckiest pugs for my timewalking. No bugs or death on this dungeon. I was kind of excited to try it in m+, simply because it’s so fast.
But if it’s as bad as you say, I’m sure it will be a nightmare at times.
When it works it will be fine, it’s a short and sharp dungeon that will be akin to smashing out a mists, second half of Mechagon or a Maw run, people will run it because it’s fast.
Nitrogg is really buggy atm. One of the things he does is insta-kills you and it’s not a situation where you’re standing there drooling saying “what’s da swirly thing on da ground?” By the time you see it, you’re dead. The other thing is when he “flies” back to the cannon he’ll just float in midair instead of getting in it. All you can do in both situations is reset.
Eh I only ran it twice in TW this time around and it was the same as always, at least I noticed nothing. I thought the group did not know what they were doing as I was healing, maybe I did not notice something
Thoughts?
Season 4 is going to be very painful.
Or I might just avoid this dungeon…
Usually I go through about 3 or 4 tanks on the first boss because they don’t know to aim him then I go through 3 or 4 groups at Nitrogg because nobody knows how to handle the damage or they get pissed that he’s insta killing them before the fight starts. My groups don’t even have to worry about the mortar shells because I’ve done the place so much I just do it for them
I usually survive but I don’t necessarily know what I’m doing either.
