So how's your TW week going?

I got half TW sets all over the place, like some with just BFA pieces, others with good trinkets, and my main with an entire set with like 15 sockets, max AZ stuff and whatnot, and yeh it makes a HUGE difference to how well you perform in TW.

I just done this with my DK, thankfully I still have BFA pieces on them and that helped because that dungeon with an under geared character or players who don’t know the mechanics, yeh it’s a god damn nightmare.

Maybe just 1 run to get 500 badges. That’s about it.

I will probably do that. And hope I don’t get PoS. LOL

I logged on the game for our reclear on Tuesday.

Not doing Soulrender prog so prolly won’t relog until Monday if my guild is finally on Painsmith

I don’t pug so no TW for me… again.

TBF Pit of Sauron is a dumbass dungeon that needs to be tuned better for a TW dungeon. It’s like running heroic SL dungeons with normal gear in a group of new players who have never ran those dungeons before.

They did change it to 50+, but it’s still a tad OP since people are levelling alts mostly in them and therefore mostly in questing gear. Like I see people with 3K or less health, no way you have enough iLVL to do it safely.

But that tunnel and the lead up to the tunnel, even for geared characters it felt like being hit by a truck in that part. Maybe they should just remove that dungeon, it’s not exactly pug friendly for a once in 5 (soon to be 6) month dungeon rotation that not many get to practice in the meantime.

Saron is perfectly fine. Maybe you die once to the group outside the tunnel if you forget the mechanics, but then you die, you lol, and you start using some cc and slower pulls.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that when i rezzed, there was still a mob outside the tunnel. Which implies that someone thought it was a good idea to pull the mobs group from outside INTO the tunnel.

Sorry to hear, I forgot to mention that legiondaries are purposely disabled by Blizz =\

226 gear doesn’t get me excited, so I haven’t done it. However, I can’t imagine any of the tw dungeons being very difficult unless they were recently buffed by like 500%.

A fair few groups where I’m top dps as the tank.

Or if I go dps then the tank is standing around like a lost child.

That’s why I tank.

Drop the TW quest requirement to 4 dungeons and I might run it again.

I always skip WoTLK’s TW thanks to Pit of Saron, it’s always a hot mess.

I’m not feeling it this week.
Normally I would have run it on 2 or 3 characters a day, but I only completed it once so far. I’m bored.

But I did get a great looking shield.

Never started and never bothered . I have too many badges , I will do the legion one for nostalgia sake once then stop doing that as well.

You mean how it is right now? Just weapons, trinkets, and some legendaries make a world of difference.

Granted, I do a full suit and boost chars, run people for their quests, and participate in the Discord for Timewalking.

lol that ramp is a killer if you don’t know what you’re doing. The first 2 packs don’t spawn hostile so it’s possible to skip them. Of course, any pug group that tries to do that inevitably ends up pulling both and wiping anyway. Pugs gonna pug. So when I tank it I never skip. The trick is to interrupt the aoe spam the side casters do since 99% of the their damage comes from them and since it’s an aoe, it will wipe your entire group easily.

After those 2 packs are the undead packs. Unlike the first 2 packs, these spawn hostile. So it’s always funny to see idiots try to run passed them to the tunnel entrance only to get obliterated by 10 mobs at once :joy:. The trick to these 2 packs is to watch for the circle of ice cast. If you see a circle of small ice cubes spawn around you, you need to gtfo asap or you will be one shot. I’ve solo carried many groups passed these 2 packs since everyone else is usually insta killed. Sometimes I get lucky if a caster has hung back a bit.

not good been too busy winning in trial of style to get much done

So it seem to be a day to day thing. Some toon and some days I can change essences in rested zones (Ether on Azeroth or in the Shadowlands) and some days it is not an issue. My Demon Hunter regardless of what day I have tried has been unable to change any essences in his HoA. I have tried logging with it in my bags, equipped, in my bank, in Or grammar, The heart chamber, Oribos, and even the Vale in Pandaria. I have also tried changing specs and going in and out of a timewalking dungeon.

Whatever Blizzard did to the HoA and essences in SL is REALLY borked.
