So. How many Warbank tabs are you gonna buy?

All of them.

It depends on how much my total gold pool ends up being between all fifty of my characters.

Maybe 3. Eventually. If I need that many.

WTF (first word is Who) has that kind of gold??? I did after Legion but not for years now. This is either the devs proving, for the umpteenth time, just how deluded their thinking is OR how badly they want people to buy token$.

4 at most, but i doubt ill need the 4th, so probably 3.

none. all may chars have at least 95% of their bank’s empty so i have no need for extra space.

switching alts isn’t. lol.

omg this name.

I make a bunch of gold and part of that is not wasting gold. So, probably 3 tabs. Maybe only 2. I’m not sure what I will use it for other than passing BoEs around between realms and maybe reagents for crafting cooldowns. I have way way way too many crafting reagents in general to fit into just 5 tabs so there’s no point in even going there.

Based on the very weird and sketchy description of how this organization is coming to the character banks, but we “won’t lose any bank storage,” I’ll be spending a lot more gold more or less maxing out individual bank storage.

Players make very ballpark 1000g per hour in gold/vendor per hour of active questing or instance play. If that gold all stayed in the economy the World of Warcraft would be World of Warcraft, Zimbabwe edition.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but if you are putting something in a warband bank for a different character to use, you’re going to … switch alts …

Ive have a ton… i sell carries out of habit not need. I also don’t really find gold sinks I like. Last was that bmah vendor that sold a month of trader tender items.

One, if that. The prices for the tabs are ridiculous for an expansion feature that’s supposed to be a QoL feature. I’ll just continue to mail things between characters.

Do you need more then one slot?

I can’t imagine the flow of items being so great you need a ton.

A couple. I will buy more as I need to.

If the warband bank could have, say, 3000 slots for well under 1M gold, that’s something I would be interested in. But until then it’s 4+ guild vaults and character banks packed full.

I’ll probably get the first 3. Depending on how much gold I can make in TWW ill maybe some more

2, maybe 3

I will probably buy the first 2 right away. I have a fair number of alts and I have used them to store older mats by gathering professions. For example one of my alts stores all my old ore and another stores all my old herbs. I don’t need those that often so I probably won’t put them in the warband bank.

I will keep the warband bank to current expansion items that are useful across multiple characters. Things like ore, gems, herbs, etc. But items that are more specific like engineering stuff will be kept in my individual character banks.

So I really doubt I will need all the warbank tabs. I will buy the third if it ends up being needed but I don’t think I will need the 4th or 5th ones. But it will be nice to have all the current expansion matts in one place that any of my characters can use.

Not if the character is on a different server. :person_gesturing_no:

4…not spending millions on space.

Zero. I don’t even use my normal bank

Late in an expansion, I think you’d have a point, but early in an expansion, there are a lot of relatively low effort gathering activities that can turn 50-100k an hour.

A bit of time spent on learning crafting, and exceeding 100 an hour, especially early in the expansion, isn’t usually exceedingly difficult.

For contrast, you might need to run old raids a 100 times spread across a many characters to obtain a single mount. Assuming 10 minutes per kill, which is probably too generous when you account for running time, and swapping characters, that’s nearly 20 hours of playtime for a single mount, along with the time spent to level enough characters to not be excessively time gated on attempts.

I think people just get weird when grinds involve gold.
