So Horde has a salv equivalent now

Yeah truly salv and the new buff are pretty equal. This is good. The horde shouldn’t be handicapped in PvE because they lack important buffs.

The alliance is currently just not as good in PvP, overall. This is hardly a hot take. But horde will be here defending their fisher price racial advantage, you can be sure.

Some of you are mistaking me saying horde have way better racials as me saying the alliance doesn’t have useful racials at all. This is not the case. The case I’m making is that the horde racials are powerful in an extremely obvious, impactful, and pervasive way. Stoneform is good, Fear Ward is good. But nullifying blind once every 3 minutes just isn’t as good as horde racials, and fear ward, while strong, is a buff that can be played around. You can’t play around will of the forsaken. You can’t dispel it, you can’t prevent them from using it. You’re going to fear, they’re going to break it, you’re going to try to fear again and best case scenario it’s going to land for half the duration. Worst case scenario you die, or they just trinket the second one and you die.

Shadowmeld is incredibly powerful for setting ambushes in BGs and open world pvp. You are bad.

Perception especially helps in ab and wsg. Bad.

Perception is great if you already know there’s a stealthy near you. Like, if you have the spy addon, it can be pretty nice.

But again, it has nothing on the clutch factor of horde racials. It’s just, absolutely, 100% not a contest and anyone saying they’re comparable is arguing in bad faith. lol

I always felt like horde had it better. I used to play orc warrior and beside using axes instead of swords its leagues better than my current human. Blood fury is a crazy dps cd. Not to mention WCB only thing stopping orc warriors from flying off the rails was threat.

To be fair, they did have Tranquil Air, it just wasn’t used because of how good WF is.
Salv is admittedly stronger, but they always had an option.

With Spirit of the Alpha as well as Feral Druids potentially providing WF however Horde is clearly dominant and also has increased flexibility of Wind totems now.

It’s just a freaking video game, people. They take this so seriously, obsess and nitpick over everything.

It’s an rpg. There’s cool little racials. Relax. Just chill out and have fun playing a game.

Like that’ll ever happen.

Nothings stopping you from rolling horde except your perpetual victim complex

Perception and Escape Artist are both insanely good. Stone Form is also very good, particularly with Void Plague being so ridiculous.

I believe I included that, but that could have been another post.

However, it really doesn’t as stoneform ends up winning the trade and orc racial can really decide a matchup through sheer RNG.

It helps rogues but with the stealth, even when I see the rogue stealth and come at me, perception doesn’t offer adequate detection to catch them.

Not only did they get a salvation but a 15% more potent one at that, single buff and 6x the duration.

Sure paladins got Horn of Lordaeron but it doesn’t even work with blessings lmao. Imagine the outrage if totems couldn’t be used with Spirit of the Alpha.

Calling it more potent is extremely disingenuous. 1.45 x 0.7 = 1.015

Pretty damn close to being equal, and in practice they are equal. Horde one is not better.

Edit: it looks like you simply don’t understand the math of needing small numbers to be multiplied by a greater modifier than is necessary to reduce a bigger number.

The easiest example of what I mean is, let’s say they reduce some ability’s damage* (or threat in this case) from 100 to 50. That’s a 50% nerf.

Now, if we take this and buff it by 50% again we get 1.5 x 50 = 75.

By buffing by the same amount it was nerfed, we are left with a 25% nerf. That’s because any time something is reduced by a %, it will take being increased by 1/(x%) to be restored to full strength.

Therefore we would need a 1/0.5 = 2x buff, aka 100% buff, to restore something that was nerfed by 50% back to full strength.

Indeed, those ambushes in BGs!!!

Perception is great, especially when 70% of the Horde’s teams are Shamans and 30% are Priests.

You don’t notice much, do you? The orc pick makes sense now, zug zug.

So we’re just going to sit here and pretend that Dwarves being able to find treasure isn’t OP?

the more you feed snipy, the more pseudo intellectual sea lioning he will do.

Less than 2% more potent. Run the math.

I notice that you’re just bad.

You trying to act like wotf > stoneform and escape artist is hilarious. Both stoneform and escape artist are much better than wotf. And escape artist can only fail against rogue poisons and only if the rogue is skilled into vile.

“gives your poisons an additional 8%-40% chance to resist dispel effects.”

Doesn’t matter what you think. What you think is wrong. Humans massively outclass everyone in PvE thanks so their +5 skill.

Sadly doesn’t work with hammer of justice.

Meh.

Was this a joke? I am trying to read this as a joke but I can’t tell where the quirky part was supposed to start with this.
