The addon changes are good.
Specs should be easily playable without them.
Still lots of stupid changes with abilities though.
Such as the changes to monk conduit.
Our celestial summon now changes to it when its on cd because god forbid we keep a dedicated button we can press whenever we want to use it. Thats too many buttons to keep track of!

Make the game worse+???= Profit!
The average player uses WA like a discount DBM with the season packs and maybe tracks like a cooldown or two that the in-game thing will be fine for if it becomes more customizable. I’ll be sad to see it go because it can be used to build some pretty unique looking UIs that differ quite a bit from what you see with all the ElvUI-based compilations on WoWInterface, but that’s never been the core use case for WA. Quitting over WA is silly for 99% of y’all, and I don’t imagine we’ll see significant number changes with that as a reason.

It’s not that massive. Most classes aren’t going to feel massively different, there will just be more focus on core rotation and less cooldowns.

NoooooooooooO!OOOo!! They’re GUTTING THE CLASS!!! NOOOOOOOO.
If devs had been designing the game better “for years” addons wouldn’t have reached the point they are now. If devs had designed the game to give proper cues and choreograph mechanics better, they could’ve had their mythic mechanics and still not driven players to find solutions outside the game to be successful.
So many players are acting like addons are absolute evil and the game has suffered because of that alone, once again forgiving the devs’ abundant shortcomings in designing the game so addons weren’t favored in the first place.
