So glad they are getting rid of WAs

You mean changing WA’s to ingame WAs?

I remember when all these Elitist were slamming players about using OBR. They were claiming that the game would die off, That the OBR plays the game for you, that players who used the OBR were using a crutch, that these players using OBR were “LFR heroes”… Now they are the ones getting slammed kinda funny how that table turned around :joy:.

I also remember when players were complaining about the Mage Tower not being included in Legion Remix. These elitist were slamming players saying things like… “Stop being entitled” “your being a crybaby” “Blizzard said NO”… Well well well now these statements apply to the elitist now.

Stop acting entitled to add ons. Your being a crybaby over add ons. Blizzard said NO add ons you have to accept it now.

I wouldn’t say I’m glad they are getting rid of combat add-ons. I use a few myself like DBM and Details.

But it does make me glad I never got into weak auras, and no, I don’t play at a level where it was needed. Just I don’t like a bunch of add-ons dragging down my computer’s performance or cluttering my screen (I know some add-ons declutter the screen, but still.)

But personally the game doesn’t cater to any player 100 percent. For example I hate dragonflying as an expression of skill in dungeons and raids, even at my low level. I think it’s terrible and awful and frankly can’t engage in the content that includes it, which is most of this season. I can’t complete the S3 campaign on any mode.

No one else gives a crap about that except me. But that’s what it feels like to have a game that doesnt cater to you 100 percent of the time. It sucks but other aspects of the game make up for it for me.

100% of players that post this have several things in common.

They don’t raid.
They don’t do M+.
They don’t PvP.

They also play the game more than 40 hours per week farming trivial content demanding mythic raid gear for playing flappy bird style world quests.

In other words, you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. No add on pLAyS teH gAMe fOr yOU.

The actual problem was WA being allowed for so long that now all the crybabies are throwing absolute tantrums.

Im pretty excited about it as well. However, im more excited for people to get over it or quit. The drama is just over the top. Times change. Kicking and screaming isnt going to change anything.

The fact is skill players are still going to be skill players after they remove addons and low skill players will still be low skill players.

The difference is the high skill players will leave because the game won’t be fun, it will be slow paced and boring.

The low skill players will stay because they can be entertained with jingly keys.

90% of the people celebrating the removal of addons have profiles that indicate that they don’t raid or do M+ so they really don’t know how hard or not hard the content is… because they are satisfied playing the mini game that open world content is.

Imagine creating a thread on the bases of something the op doesn’t use at all instead decided to come here posting his hate on for them calling out those who do. Sheesh what a noob.

Love this game and the new changes are awesome. The game will be here with our without us. WoW is a business and it’s changing to survive and ensure profit.

See everyone in Midnight.

Wanna know the reason why a lot of us who dislike combat addons don’t currently participate in those systems?

Because they pretty much require combat addons to execute them properly in the current design philosophy.

Without some addons (maybe not WA), this will set the line between the actual elite players who tackle the content on their own. I don’t do high end content, but it puts players on a level playing field that high up that do.

Nah, they’ll have to dumb down the game severely to account for the lack of addons, the gap will still be there, just starting and ending much lower.

I still say the end game for all of this is to port to console. It puts us all on the same level. I hope console doesn’t happen, but with MS… yeah, it will.

This is a good point. Take away something from the average or lower level player, no big deal. Just tell’em “git gud” which rhymes with “mud”.

But take something away from the top level elites and look out, here comes the rage.

I’m sorry what? The most rage I’ve seen lately solely came from casual because they couldn’t get a different tint of armor…

You haven’t seen people complaining that WA is going away?

Yes I did. Its biggest thread is in the 700s. Mythic appearance ripped from hero track is currently at 2700.

Those mythic appearance threads were combined. I’m sure the posts about the add on changes and class pruning outweigh that number by now.

Ok, so they are doing away with WA which seems to impact high end players and doing away with Hekili which helps mid to low end players learn their rotation.

Some high end players seem to be complaining about the former while telling mid to low end players we shouldn’t have the things that help us.

I haven’t seen a single person saying it’s good that hekili goes away.

And those aren’t strictly about WeakAura.
