We are supposed to have 94% coverage where I live. Unfortunately this evening a 2 day rain pattern just moved into the area. Not going to see anything but maybe it will get a bit dark in the afternoon.
I am planning on hitting the sack at Noon and sleep till early evening. If I can pull it off, no event at all for me.

True. But the point was that they are not rare enough for Blizzard to hold a special event every time one occursâŚespecially since Blizzard is a global company and would have to do it every time one occurred.
It is obviously a rare event for the people that get to see it this time.
I saw one fully years ago. It wasnât like the movies. If anything it was still just as bright and everyone insisted I wear special glasses.
Still I made the joke at work that I should get night differential.
They were like:

All are significantly enhanced and kill everything on sight. Players can only use natural attacks.

We already had a hole in the sky from when Argus was visible, thereâs a little remnant of it whenever you look up in the sky in the older zones, looks like a little asterisk that glows orange.
Also, if youâre ever in Northrend, the sky is still shattered from SL over there, in Wintergrasp and Icecrown at least.

Solar eclipses are very rare for most areas of the world. For most places itâs literally a once-in-a-lifetime event.
I probably wonât get to see it since I have to work when it happens.
The Rest of the World isnât important as far as the US is concerned. I say that as someone who lives in the Rest of the World too.
I still say it should have been maiev. Sheâd not have wasted that power.
