The Drust of Thros use their magic to steal power and extend their unnatural reach.
The Thornspeakers focus on balance between life and death. We maintain the balance of these forces and do not devour life for our own empowerment.

Those are bad Drust. The magic itself isn’t inherently bad until its used in bad ways.
Drust were taught Druidism by Athair and Athainne.
However, Gorok Tul tapped into Thros, which is the Nightmare, after this.
Ulfar and the Thornspeakers left the Drust because they rejected Thros.
So the Drust invading Ardenweald are the Thros-Drust rather than the Athair-taught Drust (aka Thornspeakers)
I think Kul’tiran Druidism &’Gilnean are pretty linked towards Harvest Witch/Seers that oversees life & withering differently than what Night Elves & other Druid mic races follows through in regards to costumes, trends, cultural yet nevertheless they all practice & able to tap into Druidism regardless,
Drustvar evil ones are manifestations of a more profane twisted Druidism just like the twilight fire druids
Well. KT druids are the enemy’s of the Drust so there is that.
You are correct inasmuch Kul Tirans are originally a Gilnean settlement and as per Ulfar the Drust Thornspeakers that sided against Gorok Tul integrated into Kul Tiran human society, so Kul Tiran Druids are the product of Athair’s teaching Druidism to the Drust + Gilnean Harvest Witches.

That is assuming he would show up in shadowlands, as you actually do kill him in Thros at the emotional climax of the looking for Jaina chain.
And assuming that getting killed in Thros = dead forever (like how elementals dying in their respective elemental planes, or personally made prisons = dead forever, and demons dying in the twisting nether = dead forever) I doubt we will see Gorak Tul again.

Probably nothing. It sounds like the drust are sapping the life out of stuff to become more powerful. That doesn’t sound like any druidism we’ve seen yet. Kul tirans don’t feed off of life with their druidism.
