They also kinda went off the deep end by saying ridiculous things like they were the worst thing to ever be added to the game. I like aug. It is cool and novel design for a spec. Could it maybe be a little too strong? Maybe? Every patch in the game has had certain specs that perform extremely well and others that just dont for whatever reason. I mean does anyone else remember how busted warlocks were for the longest time?

If you’re saying hard is a 20-25 ish is hard ? Yeah, any class can do that, but even there, we will have a meta comp, with 1 class being broken.
But doing sub 20s? Heroic raids? Getting Duelist? Everyone with every spec can achiev that.

My favorite is the people who complain “my spec needs buffs because nobody brings us to raids”.
Dude, the best buff you could get is for Aug to be deleted from the game, since that will free up 4 raid slots.

I was thinking more about the Hunters who complain.
Lots of Hunters got brought in season 1. Not so much in season 2. Why? Cuz everybody wants 4 Augvokers.

Well, now hunters have a raid buff so everyone will need exactly 1 hunter.
1hunter, 1 mage, 1 dh, 1 monk, 1 war, 1 priest, 4 augvoker,. Now we fill the rest with 10 randos
Those same people want the game to just be a skinner box where you press the button for the serotonin dripfeed. These people don’t want WoW to be an RPG, they want to be a competition. I’ve had this discussion with people before, they want any “external buffs” to be removed. They want to turn this game into some sort of weird FPS where parties, and buffs, and unique classes don’t exist. All that matters is muh parse. These people could quit the game and there would be such a small portion of the playerbase lost that pretty much nobody would notice.

While you can still play the game with the class you want, people will always get mad at the top dogs, just because
I love playing them. You’d be smart to remember people enjoy different things.
But I also fully believe they should have been withheld until more support specs could be added, if they intend for it to be a support spec like this.
I just enjoy the playstyle compared to devastation vastly. Even if they removed the buffs and just gave augment damage to do on their own I’d still enjoy it.
Also pretty sure the OP is trippin cause Augmentation is squishy as hell, so not sure where they’re getting “tank” from.
Pretty sure they mean in PVP where they are extremely tanky.
