I didn’t say anything like that. I said don’t be suprised if you get reported, especially for all these things that you’re typing. It’d be hard to prove that you weren’t doing it maliciously.
The amount of people who are just openly posting about the ways they’re going to grief other people in keys like this is just wild.
This leads me to believe this was probably a bigger problem than we previously thought it was. I can only hope there is a community manager or something making note of people like this and keeping an eye on them.

Yeah. They should have the decency to openly say they will vote no to end no matter the situation and then report you if your performance is less than perfect from that point on, as some have.

Did you not see the incident where the one guy got a 7 day suspension due to frequently leaving keys then turned around and threw a fit on the forums? Blizz directly responded to him in writting on the forums and said yes, we did a deep dive and found that yes, this person was found to be causing issues in a ‘a lot of keys’ and the number ‘wasn’t small’.
So no, I would not assume that they would not thoroughly investigate something if it is needed.

Again im more surprised these people think they can prove malicious intent in an online game. It says a lot more about them then us.
I mean I don’t really care what happens after the timer because it’s unlikely Blizzard will do anything about that. There has to be a fail-state, and the most obvious and identifiable one is not timing the key.
I can potentially see them forcing you to stick with the group for a few minutes after not timing the key to see if you can make it to the end, but beyond that, it’s extremely unlikely Blizzard is going to force you to sit in a lobby for an hour because after a certain point it becomes clear that the dungeon can’t even be completed.
I remember this, though I don’t think it was leaving keys being the problem. Just him treating his group members like garbage lol
Which goes to show that Blizzard does check the logs if someone’s reported enough, so it’s almost like these people are severely coping lmao

They aren’t going to go through combat logs to analyze performance and make a judgement on whether or not sabotage was intentional.
Also this. If I swap to OBR because something came up as a distraction but I still want to participate they aren’t going to do a damn thing about it.

True yeah, it was the treatment that was the issue. Not unlike what this other person on the forums is doing. Making up lies that you have to go AFK also, in my opinion, is treating your group like garbage.
Especially when this person in this thread is trying to argue that its impossible to prove malicious intent on an online game when they are typing about all this malicious stuff they’ll do to skirt the rules on the official forum of the game. Like, what?

And again you really think blizz gonna look back at these comments when the situation in question is something that won’t happen for another few weeks/months? And even then they wouldint be able to prove a connection depending on the circumstances of the key. It’s like you have no idea how evidence and correlation work
I have done some pretty high death long completion runs week one for myth vault, but yeah, that should definitely be a choice.
