So close to getting bfa Pathfinder yet they remove the requirement for flying

New players don’t have a choice.

If they are new they have a lower possibility of playing current because of their lack of familiarity with the game.

And if they already reached level 70 then why are they wasting their time in old content if they want to only do current?

No, but if last time is any indication what youre going to hear now is “OH MY GOD BLIZZARD, ALL MY HARD WORK FOR NOTHING!!!”

“you get PF just by playing the game”
They all say that until blizzard gives flight away, then the screams begin about their ‘hard work’ all for nothing, lol

What

Because the game still requires they play old content to unlock things like races and the sort.

That’s a bit extreme, many players love to grind the current content despite what you read on the forum. As blizzard trashes the old content there is no reason to keep the old grinds in place. Now if they kept all the old content up to par with the new it would be a different story.

Wait until those people find out there are more rewards for doing rep and quests than just pathfinder. You can have the flying all you want.

Wait until you realize that they don’t care

I think I have all the PFs and Allied races on this account. I’ll have to check. this or my other accounts, for sure.
Let me say for the record…
Blizzard…I am 100% perfectly fine with opening up flight for nothing in all content for players who didnt do the work.
And Im perfectly fine with opening up all Allied races for everyone on the creation screen.

There. I said it.

That’s what MMOs are. They never change. You level up. You do dailies. You run dungeons to build character power. Every single expansion is exactly the same.

It’s absolutely hilarious how people do every single thing possible to bypass playing the game you signed up for. You call it outdated content but if you are actively playing it then how the heck is it outdated.

I’m done. Don’t bother responding. I need to stop reading these threads honestly. JFC.

yeah. most just want flight. I dont see them complaining much about the extras.
Those folks who like doing achieves for stuff will do it anyway.
They seem to like that as much as I do farming mogs.

Because it’s from 6 years ago. The definition of out of date.

I signed up for WoW Dragonflight, not BFA

This is not ESO, the moment a new expansion hits, the previous one is outdated, end of story.

Even if dragon riding is a facsimile of flight, the fact that the expansion gives this to players with no strings attached is massive indeed. The alt-friendly aspect of it is something Blizzard deserves praise for, and I don’t say that lightly.

And yeah, good riddance to the pathfinder achievement. The only reason I even managed to get it was because I took advantage of the doubled rep gains during mid/late BFA.

I thought leveling in BFA without flying was fun. Many of the zones were well made.

Doesnt work like that.
We dont all like this game for the same thing.
Im not a completionist. I dont have to do every piddling little thing.
and I play open world games like the specifically because I hate the maze running games of old.
Some of the pathfinders are WORSE than running the old maze style games, to be quite honest. It strips away the feel of the open world game when its that much of a To Do list just to get a mode of travel.

DF is perfect for flight.
I hope we keep this model going forward

Noooooooooooo

you should have to spend weeks earning the ability to move at all. It’s the pinnacle of gameplay.

People need to just realize, both forms of flying can coexist in all places, Blizz just needs to put forth the effort.

Good. Pathfinder is an archaic form of cruel and inhumane punishment. Needs to be put out to pasture and never return even for current content.

Stop being so dramatic.

I just need to hit revered with the turtles and I’m done. It’s been pretty fun.
