You do meet her at her Windrunner Spire after and she tells you she’ll call on you in the future.
They should just keep choice out of the game if they ever want to implement it like that again. You’re “working” for her, but you’re just doing the rebel quests. So really you’re working against her cause you never actually do anything to stop the rebels. Really bad player agency there.
Could it also be that the choice was a poll of sorts regarding the future of Sylvanas’ character? If there had been more loyalists they would go one way and if there were more non-loyalists they went another?
Don’t kid yourself. These expansions are planned out far ahead.
This was always going to be the end result, before BFA even started they knew where they wanted to take Sylvanas after.
I don’t know why they even gave the choice. If I had to guess, I would say they wanted to test how players responded to RPG choices in the game, but in typical Blizzard fashion, they did it in the worst way.

Sylvanas represents what the Horde use to be in its best times. The game has be re written to fit the liberal narrative that everyone gets a trophy. The Horde wreck the world and apologize. The Alliance forgive them and then the Horde do it again. This has been a repeat for years.
She will also burn the hell out of the Horde to get her way. She doesnt care about us any more than she does the Alliance.

I think everyone knew that choosing to “side with Sylvanas” in game was going to have it’s limits and eventually was going to lead nowhere.
There was never any indication we were going to get some sort of 3rd faction, completely separate story in SL for characters that chose that path.

most wow lore writers and developers in blizzard favor sylvanas and they assured us she wont be another boss which is so great.

They’re not tools, they’re just insignificant to the cosmic threats. That was the whole point of her little monologue and epilogue.
She may be trying to do something she believes is “right” or “good” but she’s gambling with the entire planet. Unleashing The Scourge is incredibly risky to achieve whatever goal she has.
