Well, to be fair player characters are in no way canon. So undead Paladins are not canonized by these new eyes/face.

They were canon back in vanilla With Sir Zeliek but hes a bit of a special case.

I have many hearty chuckles here, this is one of them.

What do you think Resurection from Priest and Paladin is …

I think they already said they were going to loosen class/race restrictions quite a bit at some point in 10.0 (probably not launch though).

I suspect druids will not get much just given how their shapeshift forms are semi-custom per race.

Hopefully they clean up DHs.

Evokers probably will never happen, which part of what I am disappointed with this as a “class”, but time will tell.

The red tinted corrupted ashbringer sword goes great with the undead blood knight theme.

Undead holy users aren’t a new thing. We see forsaken priests use holy magic, the scarlet crusade continue to use holy magic after being risen, that one death knight in naxx, Calia is a being of pure undead holiness. I think undead using holy magic is definitely extremely rare. It hurts them and they must have very strong willpower. But that’s all the more reason to worry about facing them. That must tell you that they are going to be a tough foe to face as they are willing to put their on body at risk to defeat you and for them to maintain that level of holiness must mean they are a force to be reckoned with.

It doesn’t create beings like Calia Menethil, that’s for sure. The problem is Blizzard already came out and stated that the Light creates life. It creates it. So why would the Light have to create undeath in a mockery of life? It’s like trying to light a campfire, but when you use a match, it turns the campfire to ice. It’s just dumb all around.

We are so close to finally getting rid of the stupidest mechanic in the game
(yes, dumber than locking races to a single faction)

Get rid of all class/race restrictions, enable cross-faction guilds.

The crazy crap we’ve faced and defeated has to have put things into perspective by now. Horde v. Alliance seems so petty and small at this point.

Edit: I guess dark ranger armor messes up your profile. Lol.

Thats my head cannon for this guy 100%

He just cant use the light anymore, but he uses the Dark Power of the Death Knights to drive the Forsaken from Lordaeron!

Source?

Source?

I’m RPing as a San’layn paladin. With full control over the light. As it’s been explicitly stated that undead can use the light.

According to haters it’s been at the bottom of the ocean since cataclysm so we’re all good. Classic exists if you prefer restrictions.

No I want to forge my own identity. Not have one forced on me by unseen gods.

If that were true where are our worgen tails?

They already exist in lore, and I am proof they are playable through darkfallen. Not reason undead humans can’t.

Pretty sure you aren’t a high mountain paladin.

If we aren’t canon that why does it matter if we have a pandaren demon hunter, or mechagnome druid?

Yeah it’s not new.

Just hope Dracthyr will get new races. I want a dracthyr druid so bad.

Heck yeah.

Faith is stronger than pain.

Life creates life. Light is a different cosmic force.

I feel like this is inevitable.

Well I think they said this will happen. I’m saying it is unlikely we will see non Dracthyr Evokers (or at least that was what I meant).

That’s the problem with tightly coupling the class/race combo so dramatically.

Just remember calia choose to be undead according to the book, the spell that raised her was meant to be a full ressurection.

Vulpera demon hunters here we come

:imp: :dragon: :mountain:  :imp: :dragon: :mountain:

In D&D there is such a thing as Cold Fire that freezes those who contact it.

There is also Hot Ice that only melts when exposed to Cold in D&D…

A Match with Cold Fire would turn the Logs intended for a Campfire to Ice!

I know Blizzard likes to retcon stuff and so this may change in the future, but in the Warcraft Chronicles Volume 1, they specifically state that the Light creates life. Life magic, also known as Nature magic, on the other hand promotes growth, while Death magic promotes decay.

Undead Paladins is a victory for me, just didn’t expect it this way lol.

As much as I love Elves,
We still need Forsaken Paladins for this little victory to actually be complete

I just hope A equals B.
