Or remove all rewards and make PvP FFA so faction imbalances don’t matter. People should want to enable WM because they want and like to PvP, not because they want whatever bribe Blizz is dangling in front of them.

I use to PVP allot, When the factions became unbalanced I quit, War-mode has never been interesting to me nor worth my time, not going to waste my time in a flawed system, When I did turn it on was to get my bribe and then turn it off. That’s how is much a bonus bribe & War-mode is worth.

They will never be balanced. If you are alliance and turn on wm. Be prepared to 1v10 horde gankers

Reason - Many alliance members turncoated and went to horde because “wahhh i wanna win a battleground!”

because he can just stealth away anytime a situation gets hairy and still get that 10% bonus that alliance have been complaining about horde getting for “Free”

If you only played when PVP was balanced then you NEVER did pvp at all, lol. In Classic Alliance outnumbered horde by a STUPID amount, that’s one of the main reason horde got blood elves. BC was the closest it was ever to balance, by the time wrath came around Horde overall out numbered alliance. Since then horde have majority of the time outnumbered the alliance excluding a few times like in Cata and WoD when the human racial was so OP that a majority of high end pvpers went alliance.

I was just raid logging for about two months before patch. When patch did drop, whatever fun I could have had was destroyed by the sharding getting all broken again. It was easily 10/1 ratio, if not worse. Well, I am a rogue so I thought “I can deal with it”. And I honestly could. Most of the Horde in WM can’t fight without a group so I would just single out the stragglers. But then it hit me. Why am I doing this anymore? The grind that feels soooo unrewarding and now WM is messed up… again. Well, I did not take a break from WM, I took a break from the whole game. Decided to come and check out the forums to get a pulse of the game and so far, I am not seeing much to draw me back.

which is why there should be cosmetic rewards for players to work twords instead of increased honor and gear rewards

If people (from either side) need incentives to play PvP, other than the PvP itself, they don’t want to PvP, it’s that simple.

Also, I said no rewards for either side, so people from both sides that just want free effortless stuff would stop turning WM on.

If there was a need for rewards, those should be PvP driven, not PvE.

I have my Lord of War Title and Blood Thirsty Title and warmounts I hung around long enough to see all my old guild mates & pvp buddies go to horde cause of the advantages which I didn’t because I never liked horde story or character models and because I was always a Kaldorei fan which Devs never really allow to be who they are described to be. So i’ve done my pvp time and put up with a biased system for a long time. If you think war-mode gankings, and carried arenas are pvp then maybe you haven’t pvped long enough.

I guess people forget that a good chunk of players is only there for the PvE rewards and not to PvP.
