Let’s hope they can change for the better and learn from their mistakes.
How is that defying logic? What you’re saying here makes absolutely no sense.
“Hey, these guys have a track record of being REALLY bad at doing construction, are you sure we should let them build a hospital?”
“Now that’s just negative thinking. You don’t know, maybe they’ll pull a miracle.”
“But their track record says it won’t happen.”
“Negative thinking.”
Extremely dismissive and amazingly off-point. Current Blizzard’s track record on massive releases is pretty god damn awful.
D3-WoD-Legion-BFA-Overwatch-SC1Remaster-WC3Reforged.
4 titles are god awful, 3 are good.
And the initial state of 1 of the “good ones” was … questionable.
Not to mention the horrendous story writing that began with the Invasion of Darkshore and the Burning of Teldrassil.
Flame catapults cannot shoot across vast distances and they cannot light up a World Tree, otherwise Archimonde would have used flame catapults in Warcraft III at the Battle of Mount Hyjal instead of trying to climb the tree and peek into it.
It’s been downhill since WoD.
Shadowlands will no doubt be successful enough for wow to continue I bet. And that will be good enough to keep a good playerbase playing. And there will always probably be a portion of the playerbase that complains about how bad it is.
It is way to early to fire up the complaint machine. At least wait until alpha testing starts and some minor feedback from players is available.
I’ll see what beta has in store and check out the youtubers playing average specs with average gear. I really don’t have high hopes for shadowlands based upon their insistence that players are penalized for failure. MMORPG’ers and MMO’ers aren’t great at action games and being penalized for failure makes no sense whatsoever except stroking the egos of game designers and otherwise staff members who likely don’t ever play fair in the first place. I’d love to see a staff member take down thrall in the horrific vision with no azerite traits, 390 weapon, no pots, 410 gear level like i did and I’m medicore at action games. But…they want to see people fail and be punished for failing…the rpg…mmo crowd…uh…okay…great…coughs
2 eye colors, 2 faces, 1 skin tone, 5 hair colors, 5 modifiers (tattoos, piercings, runes). Combined, exactly 50.
After what I’ve heard of what occurred in Warcraft III Reforged, I am highly doubtful of Shadowlands; especially after multiple people were laid off and too many veterans like Metzen left or retired.
The complainers here will inevitably not like Shadowlands. Hopefully they’ll take the hint and leave instead of sticking around to whine all expansion.
Hope… There is always hope.
I keep seeing this. The 800 people laid off were cs staff. The was a composer that was lost.
Well. They will probably goto redit or whatever with concerns and to voice an opinion. In any case, they care about wow and it’s direction. If you are that sensitive to other customer feedback, maybe you shouldn’t be reading posts like this in the first place?
8.2 was a great patch? It was absolute trash and so were both mechagon and nazjatar (waste of a lore rich zone on dailies and barely any story content)
Essences were literally the ONLY good thing about 8.2… 8.3 is Infinitely better in my opinion.
No doubt.
Why are people trying to put SL in the dustbin already? We barely know anything about it at this point. It could be amazing and people are already thrashing it.
SMH
Nothing definitive, just subjective outlooks on it.
Personally I wasn’t able to get out of my comfort zone to really get a friendly group to raid with, do the other content so Shadowlands seems less appealing for meaningful stuff.
If Torghast being the center focus of the expansion is similar to how Horrific Visions work, then count me out.
I know they mean well and say the right things BUT their implementation IS questionable so I’m gonna wait to see if there is any ‘‘hope’’ or even ‘‘interest’’ to BUY the expansion.
To you, to me it was amazing, plenty of others agree too.
So you literally have 2 titles here from actual WoW. Personally never been into RTS so to me if they fail at WC3 it’s moot, to plenty actually. Bringing up HK is ridiculous too, but anything to further the hate train right?
To you again, but yet you are here. I know you have hated on me for supporting them in the past, expecting the same here, but let me ask you this, if this has literally been a bag of flaming excrement as you keep saying why are you still here? I get people who actually find enjoyment still playing, but why stick around if by your own measure they can;t succeed at anything they put out?
Personally, BfA is far from my top 3 favorite expansions, when I have felt burned out I’ve walked away for a bit. But this gets me every time I read your posts, and some of the others who literally do this on the daily. I have no qualms being a fan girl, it’s great to play a game I enjoy, yet for all those out there who think labeling those who actually enjoy a game they pay for is some kind of insult, I’d really like for you all to internalize for a few minutes and come up with a label for those who continue to support a company they so clearly loathe.
I let you know once I start testing alpha and beta.
Damn she really went there though.
But the only answers you’ll get though are people saying, “We just want the game to get better” or “We just want the game to go back to the way it was”.
Wait you’ll also get people saying “Already unsubbed”
The usual excuses that don’t actually address the obvious anger they have at the game and the obvious need for a break from the game.
Meh, I know rough right?
Yep and those with constructive criticism are ok to me, I get not liking one aspect of the game and hoping to have it fixed. But you and I both know the names of some who literally live to troll here. I figured hey why not ask them what to call them as a whole? I’m not for affixing an unwanted label to someone, so why not ask? ![]()
Of some? There’s so many I could make a baby naming book lol
