Its the same thing. 2h would drop and 1h would drop in classic. It provides different game play. And its good that its balanced between TG and SmF. Why on earth should we limit options?
So making our loot progression longer, for zero game play change was worth it? No, SMF adds nothing. Same rotation, damn near the same damage. It adds nothing to the class.
Well let’s say this. SmF was around first, lets remove TG. that would make us both happy then.
You’re clearly new to the discussion. There’s plenty of us that would be happy with Titan Grip being removed. Especially if they just let you transmog it either way because if you transmog it then it does not matter.
Good lord man, do you know what game play is? No it doesn’t lol
I’d be fine with that as long as it’s balanced against the rest of the classes. Though that is a different can of worms. Either way, if we only had 1 hand weapons it would be fine.

Beat me to it!
This is a rather silly statement.
removing anything is silly. More options is better overall for everyone.
I like swinging faster. I like the looks. Depending on talents faster weapons means more rage means faster game play.
Explain how it’s better.
You cannot see that, though.
No, it literally doesn’t. That’s not how rage generation works. It’s the same with 2h or 1h weapons.
You don’t swing faster. It’s overwritten by abilities.
Transmog. Are you reading the discussion?
Outright wrong. Bad. I’m legitimately perplexed on this one if you are just really that misunderstanding of how the class works, or if for some weird reason you’re actually lying to try and ‘win’ a discussion.
Tell me what first talent row says under War Machine, what does it say?
2.6 weapon speed. SmF 3.6 weapon speed math might be hard for you slower kinda people to understand. But 2.6 is faster than 3.6.
Because i don’t like TG. You do. So we both clearly get what we want. How is that a bad thing?
War Machine.
My god, you don’t know the game at all. War Machine increases auto-attack rage generation. Two-handers and one-handers have normalized rage generation and generate rage at the same rate. 20% more rage is the same on both of them, both total rage and the pace at which it comes in.
You don’t see weapon swings. Dude, if you’re not going to read what you quote, just stop responding. Your swings are overwritten by your abilities. Because your gcd is roughly one second long, you are using an ability every second, and swings are only going off every 2ish seconds. You will never see your ‘faster swings’. Therefore, you aren’t swinging faster.
So make it transmog.
I already corrected you on this. How are you still confused.
When you use an ability, it has an animation.
Your APM is the same, regardless of TG or SMF.
You physically cannot see your auto attacks, unless you are not using abilities. In which case, there’s zero reason to add SMF back in the first place, as you could already use 1h weapons and not cast abilities.
Your auto attacks hit faster, but do not generate any more rage than TG does. All your abilities and spells over-ride auto attack speed. Think of it this way, your auto attacks are always going in the background. The buttons you hit for spells and abilities are over top of that background.
They literally made it so no matter which way you go, it’s the same rage generation.
So either you’re trolling us, or you misread or didn’t read how it works.
Hah, finally! Hold up the shiny
when selecting loot spec fury it should check for that talent row and fix drops accordingly.
nothing more frustrating than getting a 1hander when i got 2 two-handers to find
i could just switch to arms to “fix” but it “breaks” other things…
So what’s the actual issue with SMF?
You get to collect and use actual handers that drop,
Gives you a slight movement speed increase.
Plus you dont have to go SMF stay TG.
At this point I’m positive people don’t read anything that was posted before. The issue with SMF, is that it adds nothing to our game play or class. At least nothing that a transmog option couldn’t have done.
What it does do, is vastly slow down your gear progression. Unless you loot spec as Arms. For those that like the look of SMF, they will be equally disappointed when they get a 2 hand weapon after. Thus slowing down their gear progression. We need two weapons, why clutter it with more weapon categories?
It adds variety. 1 giving 5% movement speed, the other offering more Stam. One has faster autoswings, the other is slower. Same results but why limit the weapon choices? Some players want to actually use the 1handers they find. Is it that hard to carry 1 extra 1hander with you? (If you aren’t already carrying one for your Prot spec)
If you set your loot correctly you wont have issues. There are work arounds in place.
Also, you know you don’t have to switch to SMF, stay TG, i cant understand why that’s hard for some players.
Benefit both parties and have both as an option.
