It’s a comp problem if you ask me, if you have a balanced team, the cc situation is… manageable. but when a spec reaches critical mass it becomes miserable.
I have ptsd from DKs, perma slowed from frost or getting gripped and tossed around like a unwanted stepchild…
DKs are compeltely busted right now. That they and their pets can keep 70% slows essentially on 3+ people at a time isn’t fun. Like just ignoring how strong they are, it’s just not fun to always be slow in PvP. The amount of slows above 50% has gone too far.
CC is what makes PVP… well PVP. The amount of CC in the game is fine. Yes, CC may stop you from doing your PVE rotation on some healer, but that’s the beauty of PVP… you can adapt and play around CC.
If you want to play a game mode without CC there is PVE content for that, i.e. raids, mythic+, delves, and quests.

Auto slows should be 30% max.
Application slows like hamstring, 50%
Cut the amount of roots in half.
And nerf at least 1 charge of instant movement abilities on monk/dh/mage
Seriously, pvP does not need to be DBZ and classes have so many low cd instant movements to make up for mistakes in positioning.

Players regardless of “creds” see the mobility and CC power creep. More specs get more effective CC, more specs get or desire to get more effective mobility. You’ve seen the creep if you’ve been playing for a long time and you see the result of changes as a new player would now.
Ret sees other specs are moble and have several CCs that dont break on initial damage and instant mobility. So Ret asked for instant mobility, they got…6 total talents in 11.5 to make steed almost as good as Rider of the Apocalypse has with 2 talents, if the Ret is willing to not be able to cast BoF at a target. If Ret gets more mobility and more CC, the CC and Mobility creep will not likely stop with them, it is most likely to get worse.
If someone holds the opinion that more CC that doesnt break from damage and more instant mobility is good for pvp, they can request it for Ret

. Nobody moves! I even take the 75% root damage threshold to root and slow even more!
