Slayer nerfs and Arms hardly touched

How on earth is this all that makes up the Warrior patch notes?

Sudden Death triggering Reap the Storm was one of the very few actually good changes Warrior got for Midnight. Removing it is absolutely insane and so out of touch with the actual game. Fury is the most average of average dps right now and Arms is literally in the grave.

Genuinely atrocious changes. Arms needed way more help, and Slayer did not need to be nerfed for whatever frankly stupid reason the designers had.

These are not the changes for the 17th… That is all for 8-10 weeks away.

Bruh, Reap the Storm is fun to see pop off on Executes. It made Execute feel good. Sad panda face.

The Arms developer should find a new job.

I made Warrior my main specifically because of how much I liked slayer. Now they’ve literally taken away our ability to trigger Reap the Storm in single target and just added it to Bladestorm which didn’t need it. Our overall damage has been severely hobbled for a slight damage buff to Bladestorm in AoE scenarios…

They just removed the only thing they did right LMAO

No exaggeration, I might quit because of these changes. At the very least, quit warrior. I thought slayer arms was actually super fun, but these changes remove that fun.

They should and move to working on fury and port warrior XD

They didn’t give Raging Blow back, or ever take it away really.

  • The change is just changing Hack & Slash from 4 separate 25% chances to trigger a refund, which can proc multiple times and trigger 2 refunds instead, to a single guaranteed chance for one refund.

If the rotation were still focused on Raging Blow, then it would be a pretty clear nerf, though because it’s now a Bloodthirst-first (and soon to be Whirlwind-first!) rotation, it’s more of a consistency change than anything else.

Not that we bother to take the talent in the first place, given how weak and underrepresented Raging Blow is in the rotation.

You see, some classes and specs could stay in the top tier for the whole expansion, while some other ones staying the bottom tier got nerfed nerfed nerfed and nerfed again (which class would it be? I could hardly imagine XD), it seems to me that the devs have a different definition for the word “balanced”.

I do love arms, but I think I’m gonna play another class or just quit the game, a class without a future is not worth playing anymore.

150%.

This Rogue is my insurance policy for that very reason. And being an Outlaw fan that has me on a thin margin by default.

The more the weeks pass the more I’m left thinking:

I’m keen for Midnight but I might be getting phased out completely. Didn’t see that coming.

It just baffles me how they let Volley one shot be a thing for one month and a half and didnt do sh!t about it last season but nerfed warriors absorb breaking into being useless in one week

Garbage tier devs

Yea if this change makes it through to live I will be ending my sub, I’m tired of the endless nerfs, 15 years or so playing warrior and all I have to show for it recently is pain and sadness.

Indeed, they are always cooked.

That is such a horrifying situation. Really didn’t want to see WW come back to into the mix as spam.

I don’t believe that’s their actual intention, so I suspect we’ll see additional changes as the PTR goes on, but I agree that it is a point of concern.

1 button AOE, coming soon to a console near you!
