Dude, it’s Wednesday, not Sunday.

Is this their real name?

Nah, they’re called Stewards.

Swolkin for the Alliance.

That sounds like a person who works out too much.

I mean… he’s not wrong. They kind of are slaves but they don’t mind it because its in their nature.

Well from what I’ve heard, they don’t really dislike being unpaid laborers. In this setting it gives them purpose which is a positive thing. Not every sentient being has to feel the same as humans do about their position in society.

he thinks the owlpeople in the shadowlands are slaves how are they slaves when they are willingly doing all the workd for free they litterally go crazy without helping people XD

Definitely have a house elf vibe from Harry Potter. I hope we get to meet a Steward named, ā€œDawbie,ā€ who actually prefers to be his own Steward and asks for payment for his services.

It’s a little bit different when these are fantasy races, created by a benevolent being, and they only exist to serve the souls of the Shadowlands.

They’re just constructs.

Can’t they just build a wall around the slave driver?

Interns must be slaves too, lol

I mean, let’s ignore the fact that both squires and interns CHOOSE to become what they are as a mere stepping stone to reach a coveted position

They are obviously SLAVES

that’s what you’re saying, right? Anyone performing unpaid labor is a slave?

Cool! I’ve been a slave before! I KNEW having chores as a kid was unjust!

I… yea I do realize how problematic that sounds now. But hey I didn’t invent the characters.
