We spent time and energy decking out our characters and alts in BIS gear thinking it will help us while leveling.
And one week before launch you nerf all BFA trinkets into the ground?
Like why? Please for the love of everything good in this universe tell me why and who came up with this change and who approved this change.
Get in front of the camera and look your playerbase in the eyes and tell us with a straight face why you had to nerf our trinkets 1 week before shadowlands launch.
Like… why? Please tell me how the conversation went in the team meeting in which you decided to to say “let’s nerf all the trinkets”

What happened to trinkets?
I mean they pretty much do this every expansion now. Because they always have some new gimmic system specific to the new content. I like WOW, but ESO does it way better in terms of gear. All sets are useful and viable on some level in the game. I wish we didn’t have to trash our entire inventory every expansion.

Pre nerf these trinkets would habe lasted till like lvl 57 or even 60 in some cases

I find this hilarious. Can’t wait to scrap this mythic coral.
Not sure why they didn’t do it with the prepatch itself, but either way these are not that big of nerfs.
Its probably just to make sure you actually upgrade them.
WoW has a bit of a track record of the first round of trinkets being pretty poor.
3billion+ people in the world and the best thing we can come up with to regurgitate is “slap in the face”

The trinkets that were nerfed were simming higher than some level 60 trinkets in Mythic dungeon testing.

If the repeated stat squishes and the level squish and the scaling didn’t let you in on the secret that all of wow that we covet is infinitely malleable database entries and none of this is real, well, then… nothing will.
To make room for that new green trinket content I suppose.
