Exactly. For unrated PvP, even WoD was better than SL, because you didn’t need rating to upgrade your Conquest gear.
SL devs decided that you can’t just log in and queue up for anything. You need to apply for premades.
New and returning players have to finish the leveling campaign to even choose a covenant. (If you hit 60 before you finish the campaign, you still have to finish it for worthless rewards anyway.)
