Some casuals like myself like gear to reduce rotations in the open world.

We don’t need mythic raid level. We just want that say 8 rotation mob in a wq being more like 5. Okay I’d push for 4
and we settle on 5.

Now we can see what we get off the renown 10 unlocks soon. Hopefully a nice gear setup helps more here.

I just want to see more open world since RNG in heroic hates me on needed slots. If RNG won’t give my helm over 3 days in dungeon
it be nice to go oh, its in this WQ.

you can fill in pieces with pvp that you’re having trouble with. i think you can get to 184 rn with renown being as it is? you’re ally so you get quick queues and extra honor.

I right now ATM am a Casual. This is the way the game used to be. It’s suppose to take time to gear, for everyone.

I don’t believe this is the average raider’s point of view of Mythic +. This is a raider’s point of view for Titan forging.

Again, I think this is someone’s perception they made up of a raider’s opinion I don’t think this is the average raider’s opinion at all.

I don’t think any of that is accurate or true.

This is a biased opinon

Only a very very small portion of Elitists believe this.

People doing the same things get less loot by design. That’s not their lack of ambition, it’s Blizz removing rewards.

The world quests and torghast take far too long. World quests are also getting to be like vanilla where you need to search the web all the time.

I think they bounced too far in a good direction, and far surpassed what would be ideal. I can’t even finish the callings half the time.

Started that up. I die a lot. But
I try to make sure I don’t die alone.

also I want that spider bad

the nice thing about pvp is you can die 3945734985734985734957345 times and it costs like 1g in repairs. unlike getting a special tank in a heroic and costing tons of gold.

Honestly slower loot progression is fine.

The real problem is Torghast is a chore for some. It should just be another source of soul ash but not required. Maybe it’s the best source of soul ash even but there should be more sources and if they wanted they could cap it so no one has to do everything.

PvP gearing has the best system right now. The only downsides are raiting requirements. All PvP gear should be upgradable to the max ilvl. High rating is for the appearances only and higher ratings should just increase your conquest cap to get more gear and upgrade it faster.

If they applied a similar currency system for PvE with a vendor having limited low level gear that can be upgraded to just the max ilvl(other than the final bosses of each mythic raid tier. They could keep a 3 ilvl difference for that) the game would be perfect. Harder content completed could increase your weekly cap for PvE valor points so you can upgrade drops or buy gear and upgrade it faster.

The best gear has always been about it’s appearances as much as power. If the best players can get their gear faster than anyone and have unique appearances why would they care that a casual player can grind or work towards similar power?

We need more deterministic gearing, and an ability for every player no matter their skill a way for them to gain equivalent power levels at least near the end of every tier.

This is why the Vault exists.

I dont understand what you mean by its a job, both legion and BfA were worse in terms of weekly/daily chores with the endless AP grind and emissaries. Now you only really “need” to do torghast and your covenant campaign stuff. The specialized event for the covenant, the mission table, the callings, the maw, and world quests are all optional (much more optional than in legion as they provide almost no benefit to player power excluding the maw which can eventually provide sockets). This expansion has the least “required” content meaning you are freer to do whatever content you want to do.

Still not good enough though cause the ilvl is static with no way to upgrade the gear. Currency works better. Kind of like how MoP upgrading worked.

Also for someone so in love with this game why post on a lvl 35 alt all the time?

Todays hotfix made torghast is more difficult. Many of the enemies got hitpoints buffs and they increased hitpoints for healers and increased damage done to tanks.

Recent interview they won’t budge on any of the issues players have. They would rather watch the games subs crash than admit they were wrong. I really loath the current dev staff this game has.

It’s actually been great. Even though burst is out of control, I’m having a great time

you playing MM i take it? you can look at me. most of my gear is honor gear. i’m doing the grind too on my own time. it’s a great time to do pvp. this expansion has been fantastic to me so far.

Not sure about your content but love the formatting, OP!

People are gonna play the game without the need for pot stirring.
Thanks.

Are people actually serious about this idea that Shadowlands is an elitist expansion? I get 184 ilvl on par with mythics by doing random bgs.

i sure as hell am not, literally been running dungeons most the day and only had 2 or 3 drops (one of which was just a sidegrade) i just wanna start doing mythic content on my warrior, but with an ilvl of 152 with no hope of upgrading in sight, thats prob not gonna happen

you can also do random bgs to cap conquest and get 200 gear. don’t need to do rated. obv you need good rating if you want mythic level gear. but for casuals? we don’t need that stuff. lol
