You dont know the roller coaster makes you sick UNTIL you get on it.
Now that they know theyre looking for ways to handle it.
I know people with motion sickness who do love crazy fair rides anyway. lol.
Having motion sickness doesnt mean they all want to live sitting motionless and not having a life lol
So they take meds or do whatever else they have to do to be able to enjoy themselves…including asking for accessibility settings for skyriding in this game.
I didn’t ask for accommodations, I asked others what they do to adapt and still play the game.
Skyriding doesn’t bother me, but I’ve basically just switched back to static flight.
I agree that SR is faster, especially over long distances. I LIKE SR, but I just don’t use it as much any more.
With static flying, I can right click to move, and it will fly me across the continent until I hit a rock, or whatever. It’s easier to navigate the maze of caves and such that we have this expansion. Plus simply all of the hovering, gathering, and precision nature of it.
The only time I use Skyriding now is pretty much for the races.
Do you get the motion sickness while racing? I’m curious if focusing on the rings is enough to prevent it.
It’s a bit of a shame, I do like SR, but its just not worth switching back and forth for me, and I’ve been acclimating back to the static flying method. Whatever time I lose over SR I think is minor, since I’m rarely flying across the entire continent, and if I’m doing that, I’m more likely to take a taxi and just tab out anyway.
Thankfully we have both…in game accommodations that are here to stay and players who might have figured out some other methods to make it better on those having issues with skyriding.
