Nah I was definitely there for 50 minutes, also an update. It just kicked me

There’s groups you know…Also, if it is at this point before the true addiction even begins…
My understanding is that if you are at the character screen you are effectively logged on - and at the start time the ‘enter world’ button becomes clickable.
If there are too many people wanting to get on you won’t make it to the character screen and will be put in a queue - and shown what number in the queue you are.
I don’t know about being logged off after 30 mins - have not tried to sit there for 30 mins - but I think it just might be a furphy.

Sure claim I’m “lying” when I’m being honest and trying to just give other people my experience of what has happened…

I don’t think those buttons are dynamic. Meaning, if they do open things up, I doubt the button would change state. It’s only upon launching the client that the current state of servers is taken into account and by extension the UI enabled accordingly.

and then get disconnect 10 minutes after the servers were supposed to allow login, but haven’t yet…
They stated that it would in the QA.
inb4 server restarts right after launch and the waiting was pointless
There is a 30 Min timeout and despite my best efforts there is no way to cheese that cooldown.

This is not correct. I have seen streamers hover and watch the button light up. Also, I have seen it by a blue post here on the forums. I don’t recall where, but it’s here.
It will light up when active.

Odd… I was on my character screen for almost an hour and a half. It only kicked me because they did a quick rolling-restart a minute ago. I just click up and down on my character panel every 20 minutes or so. Just browsing on my second monitor.
