Skimp mogs are hit or miss. They look really good on Orcs, Tauren, and Trolls (largely because that’s just normal clothes for them) but, unless done really well, they tend to come off as trashy (in my experience). I think there’s an art to it that a lot of players miss.

Skimpy armor is the best armor!

Except when it’s cold outside then looking at skimpily clad toons makes me cold. Staring at Xalatath’s bare feet had my feet feeling permanently frozen for weeks in the early days/weeks of TWW.

Don’t get me wrong. I like Skimpy bikini armor on sexy ladies but personally speaking. I’d prefer to show up in a metric ton of mechanized power armor. Like I’d better not show a hint of tender flesh that can be torn off by whatever monstrous creature.

While I do try to outfit my toons in the likeness of a Luis Royo/Julie Bell drawing, I cannot help but admire a tauren clad in such a way as to make a perfect image of an immovable object.

Troll ladies look best in skimpy armor, but with all skimpy armor, it’s all in how you accessorize.

I don’t typically play female characters, but I really love the human female character model, and I would absolutely play one more often if the armor in game looked more flattering on the female form.

So many chest pieces look very strange on the females in game. Like they’re all wearing sports bras or binding their chests down. You have to use gear from literally classic WoW to wear anything that looks comfortable on the female body, and all of that stuff is so pixelated. The armor in game I’m pretty sure is modeled on human male characters, so it’s going to warp and look… unique… on everyone else definitely. Feels a bit lazy. At least model everything on each sex of the human race.

Going to post again that they should add a pants slot and make Mail/Leather/Cloth Shirts/pants so if you don’t like skimpy armor you can fill in the gaps.

Thus allowing them to add more skimpy/revealing armor sets.
