I dont mind the Isle and its tiny bit of new content.
What I DO MIND and it bothers me, is that not all the gems are released on day 1?
What is the point ? So I will not use the ring untill I have the gems that work for my class, just like any one else.

Gems being tied to weeklies is lame. The environment is pretty samey. The story of the early vrykul, humans, and old gods is interesting if they actually showed us something cool, but it will probably continue to be text based hints.
Im there for rep and achievements. You should be, too.
And what about the mogs? THE MOGS !

To be fair, it IS an option.
You could have had that option on for 47 years straight, and as long as the button is physically there to push and turn off, you can turn it off.
Like, I’ve been playing since Vanilla. I have never changed my main character’s hearthstone location. Like, ever. He’s been bound to Darnassus since 2004. I use other teleport options to get around (like Dalaran HS and portal to Stormwind, etc.) Legit 20 years of Darnassus as my hearthstone.
But I’m never going to be like, “Oh, changing my hearthstone location isn’t an option for me.” It totally is an option.
Overall, I haven’t seen any of these issues, but it could be because I’m not in Warmode. No faction-locking, haven’t noticed the ability slot issues, just completed like three events in 8 minutes and more keep coming, … all-in-all it seems like a standard filler island.
I fear it may be a bit small, however. There’s only so many things to do past dailies. Then again, for some people, an hour of content is all they want/need considering alts and the BFA meta that just dropped.
I’m tired of the grind. Siren Isle isn’t even 24hrs old and I have close to 8k flame-Blessed Iron, after killing mobs for a “CHANCE” to get items that go towards Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren Mount.
once my sub is up, I’m done with wow. the rng and scaling in this game is horrible.
The main issue is that blizzard has publicly stated that this ring is meant to be BiS now and used in season 2 until you can replace it with a myth track ring.
It might take a LONG time to get a myth track ring in season 2. I never saw a myth track ring in my vault this season yet (I ended up crafting both of my rings when crests became uncapped last week).
So if you want to play season 2, you kind of have to make this ring.
