Siren Aisle Lore Leads to New Class

No, we really don’t, as it stands currently blizzard cannot even remotely properly balance and design classes in the game. Sure you can bring any class and spec to a raid or M+ run, but after a certain point, they begin to seriously break down due to either lack of utility, survivability, or output of HPS and DPS.

Adding another class that will not only have to bring its own unique utility to separate it from other classes and specs, and more than likely a whole other raid buff. Is not something that blizzard, or the game for that matter is currently able to support at this point in time, without having to heavily modify how things work in the endgame meta’s.

Augmentation evoker, until recently potentially with the change they made disallowing them to buff tanks and healers moving forward. Have simply broken the M+ meta for three seasons in a row. Simply due to the damage and utility outputs they brought with them given how hard they are to balance. I feel like this change will more than likely break them in a bad way for keys, and probably won’t affect them too much in raid. Yet as it stands they were a mistake to the game, and have proven to be such for three seasons now.

Adding in anther class to the already massive mess that the current classes are is a bad idea through and through. Sometimes less is more, and in this case this definitely holds true.

Something not being balanced properly is a matter of opinion. That should never stop the influx of new content, because all players will never be satisfied.

On the other hand, if a class is needed to provide the proper gameplay fantasy for players, then that is what the developers should be doing. Along with providing fresh new content for players to enjoy, even if it’s not perfectly balanced in the minds of some players.

With that said, a technology class will bring its own unique gameplay, utility, buffs, etc. because it is a thematic that doesn’t currently exist in the class lineup.

Idk what your definition of unplayable is, but ok.

They don’t seem to have an issue reworking a spec to give it a real/new identity mid expac, which tells me the opposite of what you are saying.

Either way, you should know that class balance/changes are a never ending thing. Even if your spec is perfectly “balanced” at some point your players will get bored and want something new. This includes adding a whole new class or spec.

I think people in general just exaggerate a lot of things and it’s very easy to get mad at blizz for the most random things.

The recent changes to MM Hunter being a huge example of this.

More the merrier!

Okay if they can’t do it then what does it hurt?

So if you can play anything what’s wrong?

So once you get into extreme testing past what the game is actually designed for. Did you know of the three gen 3 starters of Pokemon Mudkip is the only one that can solo the game?

It’s going to be interesting seeing what they do with the whole support class considering how badly aug fits in so they took away it’s ability to buff tanks and healers.

Wasn’t Mechagon the obvious Tinkerer lead in zone?

I’m not a top player, i’m not even a middle player so I don’t care how broken things get.

Attention Kmart shoppers, there is a red light special in the SIren “Aisle” , book binders 2 for a dollar,

Augmentation’s situation is very weird to me. I really thought Blizzard was going to support the spec better, but I’m getting the vibe that Blizzard is letting it slowly die off so they can restructure it in the future.

If that is what ends up happening, then the entire thing was a strange idea to make the black dragon spec support instead of another DPS or Tank. While the support spec was an interesting experiment, I believe the class would have been better off not even bothering, and just going with something more standard role wise. It’s not like a spec based on Deathwing wouldn’t have been popular.
