Her other titles are “Frost queen” and “Queen of the Frost Brood”. Naming her “queen of” isn’t controversial at all. Alexstrasza is called “queen” as well. “Queen of Magic” parallels her title as “queen of Life”. Stop being so close minded.
That’s incorrect. There were no issues with the consorts. Korialstrasz wasn’t mistreated. Neither was Sindragosa when she was alive. Nor were any of Alexstrasza’s other consorts. Nor was Malygos’ consort before Keristrasza killed her.
There’s only two instances of consorts being forced and one instance where one was maimed— but it was by her own volition.
Weird how she suddenly became royalty just by being a very big… undead blue dragon… ruling over… undead blue dragons… who are also her children… but undead. Mh. Almost like there’s a connection.
I’m arguing that, hence controversial.
Wow, Sherlock, now you’ve outdone yourself.
It’s perfectly reasonable and you’re being pedantic.
Stop making weird nitpicky distinctions where there are none.
And I never said she’s the Aspect of the Blue flight. I called her the Queen of magic and Blue Dragons because she was the consort of Malygos. Truth be told, more poetic than a true title, but hinting at her immense power (in life and undeath).
Sindragosa, evidently. She’s the only consort to be called “Queen of” when she became undead. Did she become the aspect of undead blue dragons? No.
I’m not wrong for giving her that title, which was meant to be more poetic than anything else.
Besides the point, because all those other consorts were far less powerful than her and never got the title of “queen” afterwards.
Did I say there was an issue with it? No I said it was never a good thing, that doesn’t make it bad like something being not bad doesn’t make it good. Point is it means nothing, being a consort doesn’t elevate status or power or do anything just means they are the dragon that the other one is boning that is all.
This thread has been fun to read as a fan of historical C-dramas. The dragons have harems essentially.
Sindragosa was Malygos’ primary consort. Her being a primary consort doesn’t really dictate the same level of power as an outright queen, but it doesn’t mean she can’t be styled a bit more lavishly. She was still very high ranked in the blue flight.
I’d like her simulacrum to have some more jazz (I’m a huge fan of the ornate hairstyle and armor of Alexstrasza’s remodel, although the size of her tail armor and gloves bothers me a bit), but it’s not bad right now.
