I’m glad to see you got all the good angles of Thal’nalas. My little phoenix thanks you.
This Sunday evening was a wonderful time, and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I’d like to thank everyone who attended, also, as well as Runathe/Lanthranlor for running the whole backstage of the ritual and the Duskwatch Saberguard for bringing the festival market to life!
On Monday July 4th, from 5 to 7pm server time, join fellow citizens and friends of Silvermoon City for the annual Midsummer Fire Festival Fireworks Spectacular!
Festival grounds will be found outside the great Sheperd’s Gate, with food and ale available and flowing. Come and join others in celebration, make new friends, and then find a comfortable spot on the grass and watch one of the biggest and brightest firework displays around.
This event is based on the following personal headcanon:
The Midsummer Fire Festival is one of the highest holidays celebrated by the Thalassian people, honouring the Eternal Sun, the Sunwell and its magic, a blessing and birthright of the children of Quel’thalas.
Every year, the Magisters of Silvermoon City ensure that over the span of two full weeks, the citizens of the city are reminded of the wonders of the Sunwell and the benevolence of those who are guardians of its energies, the Magisters.
Food and ale are readily available, shows and competitions are abundant, and on the Fourth of July, the Magisters themselves line the walls high above the city and, through magic, provide a light show the likes of which few in Azeroth have ever witnessed, a testament to their power in service of the people.
I’d love to see you put this on the WoW Meeting Stone Events discord listing!
We’re working on it!
I have no idea who I am bringing to fireworks but I will bring someone!
I’ll be there on an alt! It’s going to be fun!
Happening tonight!
Just a couple more hours before the ale will flow and the fireworks will glow!
On going with quite the turnout of elves and friends! Stop by if you have time!
Thank you for hosting! It was nice to meet a couple new people tonight.
The Midsummer Fire Festival comes to a close in spectacular fashion in Quel’thalas
A very big thank you to all who came to these events! We plan to make them annual traditions, and hope to expand them in the years to come. So thank you, again, for helping to make Silvermoon City feel alive twice in the last two weeks!
