Not the biggest deal in the world, but I definitely put in a lot of time and effort getting some pretty rare pets and mounts back in retail, and it feels super weird logging onto Cataclassic the other day and just seeing those “collections” being completely empty.

Then go use those items in retail. I’m not sure what your problem is?

OP posted because something feels weird. OP clearly has a problem with this weird feeling, as a result they’ve taken the time to make a public forum post to suggest a “why not?” in some form or another.
Based on my reading, it seems the problem they’re having is with an empty mount and pet journal.
My confusion is that they have access to these mounts and pets on retail, and so I’m requesting help in understanding why they don’t go enjoy those pets and mounts on retail, where they obtained them through work/effort.
I don’t see where there would be any confusion; it’s the same game, just taking things back to prior expansions. Why not honor the time we spent playing those past expansions, unlocking the cosmetic fluff from the start?
I feel you should be given any STORE mounts you bought previously, but maybe not other ones. The point is to replay through the game, and those rewards are a part of it.

It’s a different version and has a separate launcher to boot. It’s not the same but you can catch some or all in this new version.
