Unintuitive gameplay forcing you to do research and using glowing timers, gunshots and airhorns to play a spec is ridiculous

There is a minimum level of complexity the game needs to be enjoyable, but in the game’s current state it’s nowhere near that level. Anything they “dumb down” at this point will still be an improvement.
I won’t be happy with any Frost Mage changes until they give me back the elemental.

Idk folks. I have played this game quite a long time and there has never been a single time that I’ve said something like “I really hope I get another button modifier for all my toolkit.” I’ve enjoyed everything this game has to offer and not once have I wished I could get more buttons to press. Wild.
Jesus, some of you people won’t be happy until the most complex part of gameplay is going to the mailbox to pick up your weekly Mythic item lol.
And the rest of you won’t be happy until you need a bachelor’s degree to put together a rotation.
Gotta say, I’ll give Resto a try with the changes because I don’t want to become a grumpy old timer…. Still it may be the nail in the coffin that makes me switch to Balance indefinitely.
I’ve been a Resto main for the majority of my time playing WoW since WoTLK and have seen many iterations of the class. Of course, I was a kid. But I still remember learning the spec and healing all throughout my childhood and honestly, I really enjoy the current Resto iteration more than ever. It just needs more oomph. They should instead boost healing output so that players have some leeway to adjust their rotation to fit their needs.
The concerns are valid… We get attached to what we know and like I said, I really like the rotation now. I’m going to try and have an open mind BUT how I feel deep down - Use 1 button rotation if it really is that complicated for you. Leave the complex gameplay for those that want it.
Which is wild to say considering how the vast majority of all “rotations” in the game are braindead simple as is lol.
