The alliance has zero claim to it, so it wouldn’t be liberation, it would be conquering. If your going to be a walking meme, use the right terms.
Back on topic, Id love to see a revamp to SMC and the Exodar, both were wonderful zones in BC, and could really use the facelift. Let bloodmyst finally look like a proper capital for the Drae and giving the light forged their own base there, while SMC gets rid of the fel crystals, and shows the reworking and fixing up of brightwing square and healing of the great scar.
As much as i’d like to see a lot of places get the makeover treatment; i cannot see them spending resources on something unless they know people will congregate in said place or it’s being used regularly.
I wouldn’t be surprised if almost all major locations get a makeover eventually if Warcraft lives long enough.
The high elves(and I would argue the void elves) have as much claim to it as the blood elves. If there ever was a war for Silvermoon, it would be civil war, not a war of conquest!
Nah, the blood elves still live there. The void elves did but were exiled. They might have a small claim but to call it even close to that of the blood elves is a lie. High elves have barely any either, since high elves have been allowed to return and live peacefully in Quel’thalas, even as alliance loyalists, provided they can prove they aren’t spies or anything of the sort.
While we’re at this… Lets get even more creative shall we?
Turn Deathholme into the new Forsaken Capital city. Renovate it with newer, non-scourge, buildings, in the proper Forsaken architecture. Also rennovate and turn Windrunner Village into a place where some of the Forsaken and Blood Elves live together. Make Windrunner Spire the base of operations and training grounds for the Dark Rangers. Also Farstriders will have like an emissary or small presence there somehow.
Repair the scar or start repairing it, start building the other half of Silvermoon back to it’s former glory, or even better now. Have the Ghostlands get cleansed of most of it’s scourge corruption.
Turn the place where the Vector Coil is at in Azuremyst into the new Exodar location. The Vector Coil was destroyed in a questline and was the one of the main parts missing from the Exodar. Maybe they’d move the working Exodar up there, and plant it around where they could’ve scavenged the destroyed pieces, as well as other missing parts from around the Isle. Then turn either Silvermyst Isle or have the Night Elves move into Stillpine Hold with the Alliance Furbolg faction. Sharing and growing the trees around it into a new home city for the Night Elves.
Have Azuremyst start being cleansed and seeing the mutated parts of the area fixed and restored. Make sure all of the missing Exodar pieces are put back into the Exodar.
Except, the High Elves currently around, are either exiles, traitors, or those who had already pledged to another kingdom… and only would seek to take Silvermoon out of spite at this point.
The Blood Elves hold silvermoon with a leader appointed by the last legitimate heir to the throne, and who is currently backed by the noblity of the city and its political groups. (The Far striders, the magisters, ect)
It would be civil war only by the thinnest of margins, and appropriately seen by the rest of azeroth as a invasion attempt.
Plus, some high elves have returned, as they’ve been allowed to since the end of BC and cleansing of the Sunwell. This is again, provided they show no support for Alliance, since that might make them a spy. Even still sometimes they might be allowed to, as we saw with Alleria in the nightborne unlock.
I love that idea, it gives the forsaken a new home, allowing them to break away from their roots to go along with the shift of their narrative, and allowing the two groups of EK based horde to bolster one another.
It also gives the Alliance the ability to do something they have wanted for awile now, and move in on Loderan, maybe not capital city it… but put it if not in their hands, at least a good sized hub there.
While the changes on Azuremyst give the Kalimendor Alliance the same treatment, letting them bolster one another, and say put the working ship they have over darkshore, giving the Night elves a sign of Drae support, and a reason for them to have pushed back though reclaiming the zone.
I like the renegade undead theme. I’d like to see Deathholm restored tbh. That or maybe the forest trolls moved in. I’m in favor of giving almost all of the EK to Alliance though, at least the northern 4 human kingdoms (minus Dalaran).
Well, the Amani and the BE’s are never gonna buddy up
But i wouldn’t mind seeing the EK fall to the Alliance either, leave Silvermoon, Eversong, Ghostlands, and EPL in full horde control, WPL contested. Outside of that, just have a few outposts in the EK.
While Kalimendor falls to the horde, the alliance holding azuremust and blood isles, darkshore and Hyjal, with ashenvale being contested… and again, the rest is outposts.
gives at least SOMETHING to have come out of the 4th war with both factions solidifying their hold on their respective landmasses, and turning things more to a cold war stance at worst due to the limited controlled territory and troop movement.
Let the Horde contest the hinterlands because of the Revantusk tribe. I’d let the plaguelands go entirely to Alliance, maybe would could cleanse Stratholme finally/
I would like to see forest trolls on Horde though :’(
With Areie peak there, and the forsaken already having been booted out of UC, their influence in the area would be shaky, could see Revantusk operating as a outpost, not strong enough to contest the area, but at least maintains a presence.
If the Alliance get Tirisfal Glades, Silverpine, Gilneas, at least the Western Plaguelands, and maybe Hillsbrad/Arathi back to human/Nelf Control then I’d say most of Northern Kalimdor go to the Horde.
Give Winterspring, Ashenvale, Felwood, Stonetalon, and Desolace to the Horde.
Eastern Plaguelands should split between where the Scarlet Crusade made their home during the DK intro to Light’s Hope Chapel, and then the left half still be named Eastern Plaguelands. Give this EP to the Horde.
Why not just go back to Zul’Aman? They’re still occupying it in the lore now. I don’t see why they wouldn’t just stay there.
As for the other tribes down in the Hinterlands I’d say they’re still active and hostile anyways. I mean there are plenty of racial splinter groups of all races.
Humans, Orcs, Forsaken, and some Dwarves are still resilient to the Alliance and Horde. I don’t think all of the races should be united. It’s interesting to keep some Troll tribes hostile, renegade kingdoms of Humans as well as hostile. Orc clans that hate the others. Dwarves that reject the Dark Iron leadership.
Silvermoon needs it badly. It’s used often on RP servers.
Gilneas seems to have popularity as well. This one could use a clean up. It would be the easiest one to do, even if left as a ghost town. Would be great neutral spot.
Exodar? I never seen anyone there. Even on RP servers nobody goes there.
Only if you teach them how to make staircases. I just did the entire Suramar quest to unlock Nightborne with no flying. The city looks lovely but it needs some more freaking stairs between the upper and lower levels.
