Majority is a Horde city, quoted from Maria Hamilton:
Because it’s a hub city, there’s a small section of Silvermoon that’s been set aside as a sanctuary area where Horde and Alliance share that space, but the majority of the city is Horde, and Alliance is kill-on-sight as you’d expect.
Why is it a bad thing? The game is overwhelmingly Alliance biased, the new DH spec is for the Alliance, Alliance heroes have invulnerable plot armour and the entire world soul saga is 100% Alliance focused.
But oh no, the Alliance can’t run rampant around a Horde city. This offence can not stand!
You can’t give something that nobody wanted, and nobody uses, to someone and then say, “See, you’re the favourite because you have access to this stuff you never wanted.”
Many Alliance players have been screaming and demanding Silvermoon for years. This reeks of Alliance favouritism.
Why? Cause you really want it to be that way? What’s not so good about this idea, please tell me, it’s not good cause it won’t let you gloat over the Horde like you expected to? Like I said. Pathetic.
So biased that, apart from all the settlements that have been destroyed and rendered useless, no less than three important racial locations were made neutral.
And the first time this pendulum swings toward the other side, it doesn’t happen.
I can feel my noggin joggin’. Really felt the favor when Genn’s wife basically told him to shut up and not be mad about the faction that killed their son still being in his kingdom, I tell ye hwat.
I just checked, the Horde has more druid races then the Alliance, which is ironic considering the first druids were night elves. Where is your outrage for that?
A race isn’t a brand new playable spec, a main feature of the expansion in lieu of a new class. I assume it’s to placate the Alliance who are crying, much like you give a sweet to a toddler to try and stop their tantrum.
You seem to think I said in that statement, and by that logic, that the game had a Horde bias.
While I do think there is some bias, nowhere better exemplified than in only one faction getting a fully fledged city in the upcoming expansion, I don’t think it’s for those reasons.
I said what I did not in reference to Horde bias, but in reference to the notion that the game has an Alliance bias.
I think for that as too, it was really interesting to see the feedback from the community when they knew we’re going to Quel’thalas and that our Horde players were, “you can not give our city over to everybody,” and the team planned around it. And so, and so, we have a Horde protected area so that they can still get to keep there home as a protected space and some space a bit at least. It will be a place where we have to congregate in order to save the world.
No where did Holly say it will be a small or large area where Alliance and Horde have to work together.
Maybe stop misquoting and stop trying to spin it around. Silvermoon is a Horde Factional Capital, and will still remain that way.
