Silvermoon guards pestering me about fel energy is hilarious

Like, didn’t you guys have literal fel crack dens 10 years ago? You summoned a supreme commander of the burning legion into your sunwell. Yet me having some imps is a bridge too far lmao.

I imagine that’s the point. Their race had a close call messing around with fel magic and the guards are reasonably leery of those who learned nothing from the experience.

I know with the death Knights, once you complete the main storyline, the guards become “ so maybe you’re not evil after all”. I haven’t run my warlock through the main campaign, so I don’t know about them.

The guards change their tune regarding a warlocks demons once you complete the campaign, up to the elven reunification. Get lines like Since you helped, you can keep your demons or Just keep them away from the children

But how are we to keep them fed?

They don’t seem to pay much attention to my Holy Priest.

I disagree, it’s more like the Blood Elves like to pretend they’re better than they are.

This is evident when Lor’themar snaps and punches Torundo for taunting him about his people’s misfortune, even though Lor’themar literally just did the same thing to Torundo. And then Lor’themar pours him a drink and says he values civility. (Actions speak louder than words Lor’themar…)

“There it is! That endless ability to lie to yourself!”

You’re not necessarily wrong, some Blood Elves might be understandably leery of Fel due to their people’s history with it, ancient and recent… but I think the bigger theme here is the Blood Elves projecting. They’re hypocrites, and they’re judgmental.

There is a whole quest line where BEs are leery of fel. The dialog parallels that with the DKs resulting from their bad experience with the Lich King. It’s seems clear to me what the writer’s intent was.

I’ve got to say though, I actually loved the hate. Sounds weird but after way too many expansions of people telling me I’m the great champion of Azeroth it was strangely refreshing to have some elf be all “ew gross a death knight”. It’s like. YEAH. I AM GROSS!

It adds value to the world and shows what impacts Fel, Void, Light and Undeath have had on the Blood Elves.

I loved doing those Murder Row questlines as a Blood Elf Warlock. You had about 3 different RP options when you question the residents of the Row. One was a regular RP option, one was a Blood Elf specific RP option and the 3rd was a Warlock specific RP option.

Hmm. Odd that you said that even through Void Elves don’t have Fel Eyes. Unless your a Demon Hunter.

Arrogance for one… which is warranted.

And you are futzing around with both Fel and Void. What’s next, a little Necromancy on the side?
