Played with a lot of folks from the EQ days. Agony , Sawed Off. Shifting Sands, RoK. These days I’m horde over on Emerald Dream. I will most likely not be playing much classic, as I experienced it the first time around and have no wish to go back. Got my nostalgia fix during the beta. It would be fun to reconnect with old friends however, hence the post.
Hey Elorael - I was in Southern Alliance and then Nothing Wins the Justice, and was one of the founding Thunder Down Under Alliance members - I was part of the first raid team, if it had a name i don’t remember Hunter, same name, Nelf. I have a recollection of your name but that’s about it, but its great to see someone around who was part of all that back then!
After TBC I moved to Saurfang, was part of some successful guild groups including some people from TDUA, took a break during Cata and then came back during Legion.

I actually played and raided with Exsavio all the way into Cata, I can still get in contact with him these days but I’m not sure what he’s up to. Some of those names you brought up bring up memories… Stygian, Shini, Grech especially, remember good times with all of them. I mean… 40 man raiding, NWTJ, TDUA… it was a good group of people, lots of great memories.
Nikoletta human rogue. I don’t exactly remember any guilds I may have been a part of on SH but my toon still exists there and I would love to reconnect with old RP buddies.
Oh wow! Yeah I remember that name! What’s up mate!? I wish I was in contact with more people from the old team but I server transferred before social media properly took off, so all I can do is just sit around and wonder how everyone is doing now.
Also I believe the first TDUA group was Thunder? Thunder, Storm then Tempest if I remember correct.

Still playing the same toon all these years later, though she’s gone through a faction/race change.
In vanilla I was mostly on Soppon (night elf rogue), Dalea (night elf warrior) or Pib (gnome mage) though I was probably most well known in BC on a draenei priest named Traj. I was in the guild Alliance Guard, many of whose members raided with LO or went on to form Crimson Raiders. I however raided with the Deviants and am still in contact with a few members from there.
Hope we find some more TRS folks! Those were good times!! I actually met Xerph IRL! I just looked up the old TRS forum and I’ve been going through the old posts.
Me too. I have a lot of good memories from those days, but, with a few exceptions, I didn’t keep in touch with anyone in the guild. It’d be great to touch base with some of them again.
After the TDUA raids broke up, I raided with Resonance for a while, then a friend’s Horde guild, before finally switching to Oceanic servers and pushing the bleeding edge of content through the later half of TBC and Wrath, then dialling back in MoP and finally stopping raid content in WoD.
Oh man, I might be a little excited to play again. I wish I could just grab everyone and toss them into the RP server and just go. Having SH be reborn somewhere would be some amazing stuff.
