so yesterday I solo ran through Icecrown. have done it a couple times before. I like it cuz I can one shot everything lol…

anyways, sometimes as I am going through it I just do the zoomies and pew pew, and done.

but yesterday… I noticed something, and I don’t know… never paid attention before or if it’s been intensified?.. so maybe you guys know the lore behind it? …

when in upper spire, where the valkyrs fly about?.. there were what I assume were dead people’s souls floating from the ground going upwards towards what I assume is the frozen throne.

but now… with shadowlands coming out… are they heading to the lich king or… are they headed to Torghast?

and where are they coming from? … and wasn’t icecrown built on an old gods remains? uhhh… yogg sauron i think? (could be wrong, I don’t know lore well)

I’m just stupid curious about how this will all fit together in shadowlands… anyone have thoughts/ideas?

You are trying to add new lore to old content. That is not going to work in this context. Those soul are floating to the Lich King’s thrown.
However the Devs can retcon this.

One thing I never noticed before was Bolvar strung up in front of Arthas.

All the times there, never really paid any attention to it. Lol.

There are a lot of little things in this game that go unnoticed. Most players are in a rush to get to the end or the content itself is trying to kill them, reducing the chance the player can actually see these little things.
