I got kicked by the tank because I got killed after the tank died. I was a dps, not the healer.
I’ve been kicked for asking if I could stop and do the dungeon quest real quick, in fact it’s the reason I ended up rolling a Prot Pally so I didn’t have to deal with that and instead just solo the damned Mythic dungeon myself.
Also been kicked for dpsing as a healer, healing on my dps and one time I actually got kicked for asking if I could change my mouse batteries. 
This is a first, I have never seen an opinion be wrong before. 
Part of me believes this, and another part thinks this is a load of BS.
Either this is a joke or your guild leader is an idiot for kicking someone for doing their job well.

I was too sexy for the group to handle.
I was playing on my hunter and I got kicked because someone else in the group pulled, we wiped and he decided to blame it on me. Easy scapegoat I guess.

I met an austrian in a dungeon once, I’m from Germany so we talked in our native for a sec and got kicked. I messaged someone in the group and the reason was “Hitler youth”.
Annoyed me for a bit but wasn’t a big deal since tank was being slow

There was a Rogue who recruited me into the guild, forgot his name, been so long, and he was apologizing for the guild leader’s actions after he kicked me.
The guy was a real douche, he had issues…

Yup if there was a poll of how many times each in the game has been kicked hunters would win by a landslide.

Making a funnier joke then the group lead.
I was on a farming alt during Cata. Got the guild spam “hey we are blah blah blah. Looking for helpful people blah blah blah” So I figure why not give me new peeps to talk to while I mine. So I say Hello! couple of people say hi back, ya know the usual.
So it seems they had invited a lot of people to the guild and they were all new. These people started asking simple questions and no one was answering them. I thought surely a guild officer or someone will answer these being a friendly and helpful guild and all. Nope! So I started answering a few questions for them and that lead to more people asking questions. I started answering them like @player name so they’d know who i was addressing.
I get Gkicked and told “for spamming guild chat!” …who knew answering guild mate’s questions was spam…new one on me. Then they people I was helping were whispering me “Dude why did you get kicked?” I told them they said I was spamming guild chat and that lead to pretty much every new person they had invited that day gquitting.

Got kicked from a low level dungeon as the healer for not healing 2 dps, in the middle of a boss fight the hunter must have pulled a patrol but then never said anything in chat or ran to the tank and I couldnt healing because they were out of line of sight the second dps a warlock later on pulls a group of mobs and doesnt say anything in chat either and dies and causes the hunter to die as well while in another boss fight they both then tell me off for not healing either one of them and then start lecturing me that its mandatory for me to heal them both were out of range and they had died suddenly and both released mid fight and told me off for not ressing.
I tell them that how can I heal them when they both pull mobs and dont say anything in chat at all and are out of range and out of line of sight and dont even bother to run to the tank either to which the hunter says I never pulled any mobs at the previous boss and while in the middle of fighting the second last boss I get kicked from the dungeon which causes a wipe and my friend who was tanking leaves.
I like to think they never actually finished that dungeon and funny enough me and my friend queue up again and get the same dungeon with 3 hunter dps that did 3 times the damage as the other dps we got kicked from so probably finished that dungeon first as well lol.

Got kicked for telling the tank to pull less so we don’t wipe for the 5th time.

I got kicked…TWICE…because I wouldn’t give someone in the raid a piece of gear I was working to get. Second time I got a mount from a raid and I got kicked because the RL wanted it.

Just trying to inform the tank that he needed to listen to the healer telling him to read the dungeon journal. I got kicked for shouting this phrase:
“Hey! Listen!”

I got kicked for resetting Lord Stormsong twice when people neglect to do his orbs mechanic while MC’d, after wiping 3 times because we didn’t have the damage and explaining to them the mechanic. I was sick of having to run back

I was once kicked because the healer complained that the tank and I looked similar and they couldn’t tell us apart.
