I’m getting significant response lag in Val’Sharah that goes away when I go to Dalaran. Notably my latency to the server (as reported by the game) is consistently low. I talked to some other people and they said they were getting similar issues in other Legion and Pandaria areas (and similarly it was completely fine in other places), see Significant lag?
As far as ruling stuff out on my end, I tried disabling all addons, no luck. My latency to the game servers is consistently sub-30ms and pinging 8.8.8.8 continually shows no packet loss (and I’m on a wired connection anyway). My framerate is consistently 60fps or close to it which is the refresh rate of my monitor, and my hardware is not showing significant thermal throttling (OpenHardwareMonitor shows everything is in the 50C range at most).
This is on Magtheridon-US and I’m playing from a location near Grand Rapids, MI.
