It’s week 3. Why are you expecting the highest levels of keys to be farmable easily, especially if you aren’t getting gear from other difficult sources?

I’d like to do M+ but I don’t want to spend most of my game time applying for groups or trying to form one. I only run when I can play with people I know.
This is def one of the biggest issues with Mythic +, that alone gates so many players from even bothering with it
Because that has been the design of mythic+ since its creation.
the problem is people thinking they should be in the highest end game content in week 3 even if they aren’t prepared to do the adequate grinds lol

Valor Caps. +6 ilvl on a single piece of loot a week in exhange for hours of time isn’t exactly rewarding.
Every other expansion that has had m+ you could cap out gear scaling by week 2 then grind those dungeons until you drop.
Time-gate
It has never at any point been “by design” that everyone should be farming the highest key levels in the first couple of weeks.

That’s the design behind M+, you are free to choose the difficulty of the content and the rewards scale.
Instead of forcing yourself into difficult content and then coming on the forums to complain you’ve chosen to be a reasonable adult and just do content that you’re comfortable with and maybe progress further in the future.

Bro, people making posts on the GD crying about how hard it is to gear are not people that have ever been doing the highest level of keys, and CERTAINLY NOT in week 3.
you are, what, applying what the highest IO groups are doing and thinking “YEAH THIS IS THE END GAME FOR ALL OF US!”

You never needed to do the highest level of keys before lmao. Thats precisely the point…hell originally it was only a +10 ffs. Now were at 20. How long until it’s a +30?
what else are they suposed to do? once you level cap and get in the required Ilvl then what? your only options are the same 3 pillars wow has had for awhile and if Mythic + and Raiding isnt accessable , then what? you have to start somewhere and thats the problem, End game content is still not accessable, which leads to posts like and player drop off and like many expansion before this, player drop off begins shortly after end game is the only option and its a HUGE turn off so many players, just boggles my mind how so many dont understand this.
And when it was +10, the same people making these threads weren’t doing those either. What the number is doesn’t matter, it’s all relative to the expansion. 15s were the peak at one point and were scaled way harder than 12s, now 20s are the peak and 15s are scaled more like those 12s were.
you’re arguing literally nothing. there is no “point.” it’s just people who very likely have many avenues to get upgrades choosing to complain instead of follow the natural progressions of the game that the people with better gear did.
you can infinitely farm M+ gear right now and profession gear can fill spots you couldn’t get to drop. there is no requirement that you do 20 keys to get that gear.
pugging 18s happens thousands of times a day btw. that’s also not anywhere near as hard as you want it to be.
chances are you’re just underqualified trying to sign up for groups you aren’t ready for and getting rejected as a result.

Yeah that’s cap, idk what else to say lol. “Get your weekly 10” was a staple of virtually every guild in the game.

I mean you’re just crying for people to get items for not playing the game.
There is absolutely no possible way you, the op, etc cannot get upgrades from logging on and hopping into pug groups. I’m 3/8M, 2600 io, and even I can get upgrades from getting valor, and I’ve gotten 3 crafting upgrades that are permanent items at this point.
how is it that those avenues are good enough for me to get upgrades, a US~50 raider, but not for General Discussion posters?
you don’t need to be farming 20s to get upgrades. that’s what is delusional. do 15s if that’s all you can do, get more gear, and work your way up to 16s where you can get profession upgrade tokens. you’ll get valor in the process, and boom. between the dungeon drops, the upgrades, and the profession items, you’ll get usable gear!
you’re in all likelihood defending someone who isn’t even trying to do +10s pretending that their inability to get into 20s is what is holding them back. i can GUARANTEE you that is not the case, and it never is with these bs threads.

Yeah, I can’t stand m+ anymore it’s boring as hell. I just stick to raids and PvP.

I got KSM on multiple characters playing all three roles. I played a ton of mythic+ in shadowlands so I have some experience on this topic. But I am not trying to do 10’s because I’ve been boycotting mythic+ until I see positive changes
