Thats what we know about beta at this time.
The Epic edition comes with guaranteed beta access. The other versions dont.

Alpha’s gonna be announced on Wednesday. Holly Longsdale and a bunch of streamers are all in London for an event, and they’ve all announced no streams until Wednesday. Basically gauranteed.

it’s beta. blizzard doesnt allow the public access to their alphas.
Just a press event. A chance for the streamers to interview devs, get a curated walkthrough of the alpha, stuff like that.

This isn’t true. They have invited non-steamers/YouTubers to alphas. I had alpha access for Shadowlands I believe it was. Unless, by public, you mean random people who’ve never played or subscribed to WoW before.
stop being pedantic. a curated view of SELECT PARTS OF THE ALPHA is not the whole thing. you know thats exactly what im referring to. now stop it with this nonsense of “oh but they have this interview with parts of the alpha.” no. thats not an invite to the alpha. blizzard has NEVER INVITED THE PUBLIC TO TEST THE ALPHA. AAA companies do not do that for a reason. it’s extremely buggy and borderline broken.
Well, they do live “Down Under”, so I’m all for it.
Can the people who want to test so badly actually test, especially in PvP modes, rather than just figure out how to min-max/exploit everything upon launch?

I paid for the super expensive epic edition some months ago which comes with “guaranteed beta”, yet I don’t see the beta. What’s up?
Me as well and nothing yet, but there is no guarantee you get in right away either.
Beta hasn’t hit yet.
The only thing they did was open the opt ins for it when it does hit.
Looking at roadmap and looks like somewhere between patch and I’m going to guess May or June for Beta.

I was under the impression when I got the pre order when it come out months ago, that it came with 30 days of game time, 3 days early access and BETA ACCESS what happend.
