Why would you need to beta test a classic realm? Did you not test it enough the first time around?

Because “Classic” isn’t really Classic, so they need to test all the new stuff they keep adding to Classic clients.

Lol, testing a beta for a version of the game that’s been live for a decade+ now.

no why would I? unless there’s an ACTUAL compromise from the SoD dev team to actually give resources this time and not be another wotlk/cata situation why do I want to free alpha/beta test?

The expansion’s coding, artwork, assets, etc already exists from the past, so their only “work” besides copy-pasting is cooking up fresh mounts/cosmetics/store items to sell alongside it

I’m extremely surprised this whole Classic thing has gone beyond Wrath- I would’ve expected interest to die there.
Where does it end?
Classic The War Within? The whole saga?
There’s basically two Retails at this point (complete with tokens and in-game store), I’d say there’s pretty much nothing Classic about it other than it’s a prior expansion.
Remixes are one thing, but a Classic, MoP and Legion are not.
Legion especially, is the start of the current era of WoW in terms of mechanics.

I think “Classic Shadowlands” is where I’ll just afk/sit it out/not play my Classic character, the other ones are a nice side-distraction though

Sign up play the beta tell us whats wrong and what needs fixed, We will listen but wont change/fix anything until its LIVE and everyone else starts to complain about issues

and then when they do fix things they act like hey listened…really then why did it make it to live…I cant WAIT for Remix beta and soo many bugs and farms make it to live and then they act like oh we had no idea this was going on blah blah blah
Nothing about it is surprising. Its strange people still make post like this.
They are wrong though. Nothing about MoP and retail is really close to the same.

It’s not necessarily that they’re the same, it’s just the fact that it’s been going on for so long, there’s basically two retails at this point
