Are you telling somebody saying cata is bad that there opinions are not similar to the rest of wow players?

I would prob argue against you in the fact that the majority of people didnt like cata and prefer classic/sod.

Time will tell though

I will sign up for the cataclysm classic beta when they announce that they are actually making official permanent classic wrath servers.

Wish you all would stop calling wrath, and cata classic versions, when you will again add wow tokens, and a horrible mythic + nonsense that were never in the og versions.

I’m getting a 400 error code when I try to sign up.
Error message: “Invalid grant type or callback URL is not valid.”

I can’t be the only one who looks at “Cataclysm” and “Classic” and think that it’s an oxymoron.

You’re not, I’m guessing we’re the silent majority

Even just going off of the historical data the sub numbers fell off a cliff post-Cata, so it’s probably safe to say Cata was the unofficial “start” of the modern era

As a general rule of thumb:

Vanilla-TBC-WoTLK = “Classic” era

Cata onwards = “modern” retail era

Man would be nice if pre-ordering the Heroic, and Epic editions should immediately be given Beta access but instead gotta sign up

My favorite part about when they talk about cata is when all the hurt feelings bads who left in original cata wont be there because their auto play version of the game went away. Trust me when I say. No one is upset youre not going to be there. This is a game company. Theyre out to make money. Not make a very loud minority of baddies happy. Scream, kick and cry all you want. Wotlk was only considered good because of the era. I played back then. Had my fun. Conquered all of the content. Went back to check it out. Remembered why it was the expansion i took the most breaks in. After knocking naxx out and wait for the next lockout. I just sat back and thought “Oh yeah this is why i was constantly taking breaks.” Nothing to truly do other than pretend there was so much to do. Everything was just mind numbingly simple and easy. I was so happy when cata brought back difficult content and made the combat more than 2 or 3 buttons. My only regret was that I was working to much to put much into Cata. Thats what im looking forward to personally. I dont care if a few thousand whiners leave the game. You make the community toxic to begin with. Go play a private server and pretend youre special. Nostalgia is a drug for sure man. Wrath was always kinda meh imo compared to vanilla/tbc before it and WOTLKC really doubled down on that. I feel like you either want a challenging MMO with fun content, or a super social MMO with casual content. Theres really no room for both at the same time until years later in retail.

Lol yeah dont play if youre wanting to do cata content because you won’t be able to because you start at level 1 again. im not gonna level another toon for only 5levels of actual content i want. you’ll have to pay me to do that.
