Siege of Zuldazar is not an Ally Victory

The Nightborne, who fought to free themselves from beneath the heel of a megalomaniacal queen, promptly put themselves under the heel of another megalomaniacal queen because Tyrande hurt their feelings.

Tyrande really is just that awful, and Blood Elves really are just that charismatic.

Junkies are dignified?

None of them are junkies anymore. You must be referring to those blue-skin traitors you're familiar with.

I wonder what would happen if someone were to blow up your new Sunwell. Still wouldn't be a junkie? Just because you're getting constant hits and not suffering withdrawal doesn't mean you aren't still a junkie.

(I don't actually know the lore here I'm just yoloing)

Leave our blue skinned junkies alone, they're a charity project of ours. Probably a tax write off.

Jaina should be dead at the end of the expansion by Talanji's hand, bonus point if Talanji get to cannibalize her on the spot.

Talanji is not undead nor a blood troll, why would she eat Jaina's corpse? I mean, a ritualistic offering to a Loa I can see that happening but 'eating her'? What?
.. I'm Alliance too and even i find this thread just whiny at this point. Its not the "only" victory we win in 8.1. We decimate the golden fleet while ours is still fine. (among others that i won't mention to avoid spoilers)

Sorry that it isn't "clean" enough for you. But story wise it isn't always going to be a simple back and forth "clean" wins.

Unless you’re Sylvanas.

Because trolls are animals and not people, duh.
To be honest, Jaina isn't that important to the Alliance, she had a decent story to snap her out of her mental instability in BFA, but in Legion she was a renegade and went MIA, nobody in the Alliance gave a damn about her or any of her issues.

OMG you guys are annoying. There is literally nothing you are fine with no matter what the devs do.

That's what you get when all the petulant children want to play the pretty races and live in the Disney castle.

Disney castle, underground mountain home, and a giant magical tr... wait, scratch that last one.

Heaven forbid Alliance spoon suckers ever started losing a leader per expansion.

Alright, here's the rules:
-2 points for faction leaders
-1 point for boss-status characters (level skull)
-half-points for those that dont die, but become neutral
-points subtracted if character re-joins their faction

Vanilla Alliance:
-(none)
Vanilla Horde:
-(none)

0/0

BC Alliance:
-Khadgar +1 (returns as neutral)
-Illidan +1 ('evil', killed in BT, only 1 point because not technically a faction leader)
BC Horde:
-Kael'Thas +2 (if i'm giving credit for Khadgar and Illidan, it's only fair I do the same for Kael, who WOULD be considered a faction leader)

2/2

WotLK Alliance:
-Bolvar Fordragon +1 (faction Leader from previous Expacs, technically neutral as new LK, but if he turns evil later, i'm giving him that extra point)
WotLK Horde:
-Varimathras +1 (revealed to be evil, killed waaaaay later)

3/3

Cata Alliance:
-Magni +2 (Turned to crystal, presumed dead)
-Fandral Staghelm +1 (Firelands)
-Malfurion +1 (returns as neutral)
-Archbishop Benedictus +1 (turned evil)
Cata Horde:
-Cairne +2 (killed by Garrosh in Mak'gora)
-Thrall +1 (neutral)

8/6

MoP Alliance:
-(none)
MoP Horde:
-Garrosh +2 (SoO)

8/8

WoD Alliance:
-Velen: +0 (JUST KIDDING, AU, LOLZ)
-Magni -1 (Ohshii... he woke up! Oh, but he's neutral now.)
WoD Horde:
-(none)

7/8

Legion Alliance:
-Varian: +2 (exploded by Gul'dan)
-Illidan: 0 (technically returns as neutral, but then !@#$s off to go be space-warden for sargeras, so kind of a wash there)
Legion Horde:
-Vol'jin +2
-Thrall +0 (for rejoining, then un-rejoining the Horde)

9/10

BfA Alliance:
-Malfurion -1 (for returning to the Alliance from neutral)
BfA Horde:
-Vol'jin: -1 (for returning as a blue-glowy-jedi; still dead, so we'll only take one point back)

8/9

i dunno, guys. seems like there's lots of gains and losses on both sides. Horde may lose more true faction leaders, but Alliance seems to really have a thing for losing powerful figureheads to neutrality and/or corruption.

The Lich King's entire command got wiped out in WotLK. The Twilight Hammer Cult was destroyed in Cataclysm. The Warlords of Draenor were all destroyed in their namesake. The Burning Legion got annihilated after Legion.

The Horde have lost two (maybe three) leaders over the course of six expansions. As villain factions go, you're doing very well.
burning legion still exists just fine.

The fact that our leader JAINA who is way more important than any of your leaders, gets injuried in our raid already paints it in a bad light. We want a major victory against the Horde. We shouldn't have to lose any soilders, similiar to how you lost no one when you burned Teldrassil.

Honestly this should of been an Alliance only raid. The Horde pc should of just showed up, saw the fire, faced Jaina and died when she was at 50%.

I also think Nethanos and Gallywix should of been killed off by us but I will throw an olive branch here and say its probably better they stick around. It might be boring if you run out of characters for us to kill in the future lol.

Look, I'll admit that I'm about as pro-Alliance as you get, but did you honestly think they would let the Alliance occupy the Horde's new city? Are you honestly complaining that Jaina receives some minor injuries?

We kill the current king of the Zandalari and lay waste to their capital city. BOTH of the Alliance leader's known to be raid bosses for the Horde (Jaina and Mekkatorque) have been data-mined to survive.

Seriously, as a fellow Alliance main, I'm a little embarrassed by your post. I'll complain if Sylvanas ends up getting a redemption story instead of the death she deserves, but I'm definitely not complaining about 8.1.
boo hoo
Blood elves are totalitarian and Nightborne are kinda just weird grapey Kaldorei. If there's any really dignified race it's probably the Draenei. I mean, they have space ships.

Compared to whom? Blood Elves and Nightborne are certainly more dignified than any Alliance race will ever be.

The Nightborne, who fought to free themselves from beneath the heel of a megalomaniacal queen, promptly put themselves under the heel of another megalomaniacal queen because Tyrande hurt their feelings.

There is nothing dignified about that.

I mean you can easily turn that argument around and say there’s nothing dignified about the way Tyrande acted.

Just sayin’ fam.
