lock is good yes but i think its where it should be in the meta its just not OP. i think warriors hunters ele rogue mage are all capable of beating warlocks just fine i think those matchups come down to skill and team composition and how the game plays out.

Even chan said at the end of the eu awc interview that locks aren’t S tier anymore.

But that’s not gonna change opinions when the pitchforks are out.

i think i have faced a DH or a boomie or a MW maybe one or two times in my entire time playing. When the meta isnt diverse theres a problem with this game. thats the problem.

The fact is though everyone can’t be S tier. Everyone thinks they should be S Tier all the time. It’s a bit absurd.

They are not S tier in a professional tournament. They still top 5 in SS and A+ in 3s.

Its more that a lock conplaining he is tired of OP class makes no sense. Lock been non S tier for less then a single season in the past 10 years ?

That depends on where you’re ranking said op classes.

For example, check how many times locks have been in the awc in the last 10 years compared to the other classes? Saying the awc or peak level gameplay doesn’t matter is like saying DH or warrior are currently top performers cause we only care about the challenger bracket and those classes can compete in that bracket just fine.

Most people on these forums have never been higher than 2.4k in any bracket, some have never been higher than 2k so proportionally the struggles or opinions of players at 3.5k xp don’t really matter cause they are so out of reach, said opinions tend to gravitate towards the middle of the ladder and think balance should be done around that but picture it as if you are the peak player and the “middle bracket” is like 1k xp and their struggles and concerns only appear to be centered around said bracket range , wouldn’t you be saying the exact same things i am right now?

The game should be balanced around the top end, class imbalances is no excuse for those who haven’t reached their class’ skill cap.

Lock is a niche class, like Boomkin or Feral.

Main classes for arena have always been mage, rogue, or healing priest
